As i m frequently travelling to karjat and uses
Shedung toll and observed that very rarely all the toll booth are functional and the staff is very lethargic, very slow in their work as compared to the vashi toll plaza or mulund - airoli toll plaza.
Today morning around 8 am while i was travelling towards mumbai only 2 booth was functioning and there was heavy traffic and to reach to the toll booth i had to spend more than 10 minutes i wasted my precious time spending their for paying toll.
As per me in the given situation the toll should be exempted till the flow of vehicle is normal and all the 4 booth should be in operational instead of only two.
Please dont cut down the cost of operation at the cost of precious time of the traveller/ the persons using the toll.

We are in receipt of your email dtd: 25.02.2019 relating to delay while crossing at Shedung Toll Plaza, registered under ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ portal.

At the outset we sincerely apologize for inconvenience caused to you. We hereby inform that the said incidence has been investigated by us and clarify as under:

1. We would like to inform that all lanes are operational 24X7 and none of the lanes are closed expect in case of maintenance / emergency.

2. Two lanes were closed temporarily for repair/maintenance work which coupled with shift change time led to build-up of some traffic at toll plaza. Please note that all lanes were opened subsequently and normal operation was resumed.

3. With regard to your observation as to inefficient working at the said plaza in comparison to other toll plazas, we have taken note of same and assure that necessary steps will be taken to address the same. We highly appreciate your feedback as it will help us to improve our services.

4. We would also like to inform you that, we are carrying out toll operations at aforesaid toll plaza as per the guidelines of ‘Maharashtra Road Development Corporation Ltd’ (MSRDC) and notification issued by Govt. of Maharashtra. As per aforesaid notification, there is no provision of exemption in such cases.

5. We would like to assure you that there is conscious and continuous effort by us to avoid delay to user in crossing toll Plaza at all times. To mitigate the delays, please also note the following arrangements made by us during peak hours for fast clearance of traffic:
a) Deployment of additional staff with Hand Held Ticketing Devices ahead of toll booths.
b) Deployment of Hand Held RFID Devices to read the fastag in case Over Head Reader fails to read the same.
c) Provision of change and small denomination notes to facilitate users.

Today at 5:23pm we have waited for about 36 minutes at the shedding toll as the machinery and staff are both malfunctioning. On both sides (leaving and entering the village) traffic has been backed up heavily with no rush / resolution from either side. This is the most time it has taken us to reach our destination. If possible, please resolve this at the earliest.

As a local resident near shedung toll Naka, I can confirm here that this is a never-ending story. To cross this toll naka you have to have to spend at least 10 mins. On weekend expect 30 mins - 1 hour.

It's doesn't make any sense to pay tolls for better roads and waste fuel in unmanaged queues.
It's become a daily headache now. Central govt minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari ji please look into this.

Hi.

I am staying at Shilphata Khopoli and daily travel to panvel.

Exact 27Km From my place there is shedung toll Plaza Based, but when I cheched on your Website i am surprised to see there is no toll plaza showing on Map ( Srceenshot attached)

I want to know why 41Rs Chardged for 27Km Run.

Is there Monthly pass available in Discount rates.?

And why This toll plaza is Showing Zero Fees on your website.?

On 25th September I was passing by my car At Shedung IRB Toll plaza and they are having Thirdclass fast tag scanner and I stopped my car and Waited for Few seconds and I moved my Car and They closed the Boom barrier on My new car and dent came on my new car, it was too fast i dont know what to do, its waste of Fighting with them I paid toll and Went off Request to take Legal actions against that Toll booth operator or detain him, even he would have asked me to stop should not fall barrier on car wind shield frame, I go everywhere no such pathetic things happen on any toll both. Request to take legal action against that culprit.Call me I will come whenever u take action against him.
