I was travelling on 19th april 2019 from mumbai towards chakan by car on mumbai pune expressway. At khalapur toll plaza i entered etc lane for toll payment by fastag. The attendant there told i have insufficient balance. I insisted that the wallet has sufficient balance as i had checked and deposited money just 10 mins before entering toll plaza. He did not allow us and took rs.230 for talegaon exit (Receipt attached) but after leaving when i stopped near lonavala for a break i checked my fastag account and to my shock rs. 109.06 (Paytm transaction stmt attached) had been deducted. I thought of informing the same at next toll at talegaon. The chakan exit at talegaon is only one lane with cash and etc both. I entered the exit and told the attendant i have already paid 230 by cash so pkease reverse my fastag deduction of rs.109.06. He told me he cannot reverse but to my shock again he deducted another rs.138 (Paytm transaction stmt attached). I asked him why are you again deductibg money when i have showed you the cash receipt. He said system has deducted the money i cannot do anything. I asked to see the manager to which he simpky said go and check. He pounted to someone not looking like manager there. I again politely told him my problem that i have paid cash already and i want to get the fastag transactions reversed since you are deducting money twice. He rudely told me noone can help you here. Ask your bank to refund it. I told why will my bank refund as you have taken the money. He started using fowl language and expletives askung me to leave. I asked him for resolution again or tell me how or who i can approach again. He again said go to your bank and again aggressively using bad mouth. I had no option but to leave and put a complaint here for the refund and strict action should be taken against talegaon toll personnel who instead of helpibg people in distress are robbing them and then using goondaism to shoo them away. I think not many people would be claiming their money back like me and the robbed amount going to the toll managements account. This is clear robbing.
Its a software which can technically do anything. It can reverse, deduct, block anything. But since these people want to rob they just don't do it.

I want my money to be refunded and hope govt which is asking people to embrace technology for ease, safety and convenience should put grievance cells on each toll for such toll irregularities. Also, i didn't find any policemen there when those toll guys were being aggressive.

I hope i don't have to escalate this to road ministry and no one goes to such mental harassment.

Have stll not got my money credited back to my account. Why should we use fasttags when these guys are looting people
Hello in the mumbai pune express highway No 55.. when i am connecting lonavla to pune express highway there was many more big car was park and some person are solding tea and snacks. My luck is good thats way i am safe. Pls take a action of your security

    I would like to draw the government’s attention to the deplorable condition of road along with somatane phata to hillock tower (Pune - mumbai service road) section of the road.
    It has been almost 4-5 years since the road along this route has been in a dilapidated state due to total neglect of the department of roads which is the least bothered about repairing it.
    There are a number potholes causing much difficulty for drivers to navigate vehicles and many passengers have met with accidents that could have been avoided had the department of roads been serious about the difficulty faced by the people
    Other roads in areas where government officials and vips live do not take much time for maintenance, but it is the areas where we, the general people, live that repairs to even the busy roads are delayed too much.
    Please help as many family member leaving in dark, as there is no pole light available in the road.
    Please call me on below number, to aware current situation which we are facing. This is time for voting and if this is not sorted out, all families already decided to put our vote on nvota.

    Hi Team,

    Let me take moment to summarize this issue after a meeting with IRB management.

    1. Today IRB management visited to site, Initially there where not agreed to having control on of road in there hand. But when society people were started asking number of question.
    2. After lot of discussion and arrangement with IRB person. They agreed that is coming under them and they can help to put hard soil to do maintence of this road which they are maintaining from last 4 years.
    3. However, since last 3 years we are staying and taken possession of flats in 2017, we never seen any IRB person for coming for repairing the road.
    4. IRB Team is directing this issue to address MSRDC management and we really don’t know how we deal with MSRDC in that case.
    5. We want our issue to get it resolved with proper road construction so that general people, like us can stay there. We all are tax pair and we are expecting our issue to get is resolved soon.
    6. We therefore, request you to kindly take necessary action to mend the ways so that people of the area have good roads and street lights.

      Toll booth anewadi & khed shivapur traffic management on saturday & sunday.
      Staff is not handling traffic at tool booth only money collection is there duty. Peploe has to wait 15-20 miniuts to reach at tool. Several times there will be fight between drivers and booth employee. No mechanism to handel traffic. Every saturday sunday huge traffic at anewadi & khed shivapur toll both. No traffic managment system. No proper barrication at place. Always 1-3 lanes closed. Afart from 2 closed lane one vip lane blocked. Toll collection employee misbehaving with vehichle owner. Road quality also not good. 40% road is under construction since last 6 years.

        As per rc book of my car vasad toll to my home 24 km, so due to this range i am not able to get monthly concession pass of 250 rs/month. (Range - only 20 km). Total distance used by me on nh-8 is 20 km from chikhodra x to nandesari x by personal car.
        Toll rate one side is 60 rs which is 3 rs/km, per day 120 rs toll for 40 km which is too high for local district person daily commuter. I have wrote lot of mail but no proper justification. Irb told like this is nhai procedure we just follow, but the toll rate is extremely high and somebody should reviewed and edit the policy. How can local district range people will pay 120 rs for using own personal car for total 40 km for daily job.

        Now i have only last option to get some feedback for anand district people from you only, no body is replied, like ar. [protected]@nic.in, v. [protected]@nic.in, nitin. [protected]@nic.in, [protected]@mygov. Nic.in

        Even no reply of my mail from above government officer.

          Hello,

          I was traveling from mumbai to pune on[protected] and toll fees are rs. 230 in total. I am using fastag for toll on mumbai-pune expressway.

          At khalapur toll plaza, the toll amount deducted was rs. 138 and at talegaon toll plaza also rs. 138 was deducted. Which means i paid rs. 276 for my journey via fastag.

          Same happened to me on[protected] while traveling from pune to mumbai.

          Please see the attached statement, i have highlighted in red box where i am charged rs. 138 at both the times instead of rs. 138 and rs. 92 at first and second toll respectively.

          Please arrange a refund of rs. 92 back to my fastag account as extra amount has been deducted.

          The green box shows that amount deducted is correct. From past 5 months, amount was deducting properly like Rs. 138 at first toll and Rs. 92 at the second toll which is Rs. 230 in total.

          At the outset, we sincerely apologize for inconvenience caused to you. We hereby inform that the matter has been investigated by us and clarify as under:

          1. We have verified our accounts and confirm that we have received an additional amount of Rs.92/- and the same can be refunded.

          2. It may be noted that details of valid Fastag on a vehicle is automatically captured while crossing toll plaza and accordingly payment is deducted. In limited cases, due to system malfunction tag is not verified immediately and the person at toll booth asks for cash payment.

          3. You are requested to contact your Fastag issuing bank to raise a charge-back request for refund of this amount. The same shall be credited to your bank account.

          For any further assistance or clarification, please feel free to write back to us.

            On 24th february 19, while travelling from mumbai to pune, i paid rs.138 by paytm fastag at khalapur toll plaza and had to pay rs. 138 at talegaon toll plaza by credit card instead of rs. 92 as fastag was not detected at booth even by hand held fastag reading machine. So i paid rs.46 extra for toll.

            Same thing happened on 25th jan 19. While travelling from pune to mumbai, i paid rs.138 by fastag at talegaon toll plaza and had to pay rs. 138 at khalapur toll plaza by credit card instead of rs. 92 as fastag was not detected. I paid rs.46 extra for toll. I have attached toll receipts and fastag statement as evidence.

            What is the use of fastag, if i have to pay rs.46 extra every time, due to faulty fastag reading machine. Please let me know how the extra paid toll rs.92 can be reimbursed and what action to be taken in future if same thing happens again or i should stop using fastag if nothing can be done. Toll collecting person says you have to pay rs.138 only also most of the time fastag paid transaction sms is received late after almost 2 hrs.

            In total. I had paid Rs. 92 extra - Rs 46 on 24th Feb and Rs.46 on 25th Jan 19. On 13th March, I received refund of only Rs.46 from Toll Fastag in PAYTM account. Thanks for the same . But refund of balance Rs. 46 is still pending. Please do the needful at the earliest so that complaint can be closed.

              Shedung toll and observed that very rarely all the toll booth are functional and the staff is very lethargic, very slow in their work as compared to the vashi toll plaza or mulund - airoli toll plaza.

              Bank of india account is [protected] and ifsc code is bkid0000533 and account name is rrupa k thorat.
              Also attached is receipt of the toll paid in cash.

                I am a regular user between kokapet point and patancheru point on orr hyderabad. On 30.01.2019 eening at around 5.25pm we had an unpleasant situation at kokapet exit. The attendant at the toll plaza picked up a quarrel with other user causing inconvenience to others. He failed to clear the traffic nearly 10 mins resulted missing an important business appointment with a corporate client. Though there is a second gate available he refused to clear the traffic and inturned he abused us by using unparliamentary expressions.in this connection i request you to take a stringent action against the erraned employee.                 We are in receipt of your email dtd.02.02.19, regarding delay and inappropriate behavior of toll staff at Kokapet Toll Plaza (ORR Nehru project Hyderabad), registered under ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ portal. In this context, we would like to clarify as under:
                At the outset, we sincerely apologize for inconvenience caused to you. We hereby inform that the matter has been investigated by us and clarify as under:
                1. While you had approached the toll lane, the vehicle at the toll booth was seeking exemption which was denied by our toll staff. Our toll staff requested the said user to take his vehicle ahead (and move aside the carriageway) in order to clear the lane for other vehicles. However, refusal to do the same by him led to traffic build-up in the said lane which caused delay to you & other commuters of that lane.

                2. Subsequently, while you were at toll booth, you had inquired about the matter with toll staff, which was explained by him. We understand that you were not satisfied with his response which led to some altercations between yourself and toll staff.

                3. We would like to inform that any misbehavior by our personnel is strictly dealt by us and we have instructed our plaza team yet again to ensure proper conduct by our personnel. Please note that we provide periodical training for the job to our personnel including behavioral training to ensure quality services.

                4. Once again, we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused to you and highly appreciate your feedback as it will help us to improve our services.

                  Had similar experience at Kokapet. We were in a hurry and went into the fast tag lane and our car has fast tag. Some times the fast tag does not work. We tried changing more than 10 times and placing it inside outside and different places on the windshield but still many a times it wouldn’t work. Most of the places where they have these little handheld scanners and it works. Kokapet doesn’t have these scanners and when my fast tag was not working the guy even though he can with a click of a button can give the slip, but adamantly replied that I have to go to next lane where the tab can be given. We argued that we have a fast tag and he carelessly replied so what and started arguing whose problem is it. When asked him to tell his name he did not reply and says he will not tell his name do whatever you want to do. Just didn’t want to create more ruckus for the people behind, I left. This was on 16 mar 2022 at around 9:20. Hope you will take action against such rudely behaving operators. I travel a lot on ORR my daily average is 100 kms per day and I rarely see anyone this rude. But this guy was was out of my understanding.

                    wrong toll deduction/debit from fastag account

                    I had travelled to bhavnagar between 05.04.2018 to 09.04.2018 by car having fast tag.
                    Proper toll amount was deducted at boriach toll plaza during the travel. However additional amount was once again deducted from my tag account in the month of august for the same trip.
                    Rrn number are as under
                    Date 09.04.2018 rrn [protected]/[protected] toll debited rs.60 and against adjustment toll debited on 07.08.2018 rs.265

                    While travelling from pune to mumbai on 9th jan 2019, toll of rs230/- was paid by me through my citibank credit card at 4.44pm. The toll person told me that the payment did not come through and the payment is cancelled
                    I gave the card again and this time (At 4.45 pm) the card payment was done correctly
                    But i got notification from the bank that 2 payments are done at 4.44pm and again at 4.45 pm both of rs 230/- each!

                    We have MH14 registered vehicle, is it exempted from this toll payment?

                    We saw MH14 vehicle passed by without any toll payment. But our vehicle obstructed for no reason.

                      A car usually wastes 20 minutes at the toll plaza. So I request you to add a few more toll booths and also to hasten the process. The toll plaza is currently completely overwhelmed by the traffic.

                        On 28-Dec-2018 I was charged Rs. 115 at Khalapur toll despite the fact that I had taken a Rs 173 receipt in cash. Can you please reimburse my 115 Rs?
                        I have fasttag setup in my car. Also tried reaching to paytm to get this sorted, but to no avail.
                        In case there is ny specific avenue to raise this issue, do let me know of the same.
                        I was traveling in MH14GN9986. Gave 173 Rs for toll at Khalapur toll by cash, which was vakid till Pune. But then, when I passed the Dehuroad toll, I got a message of 115Rs charged against my fasttag!

                          We are doing daily up-down from ahmedabad to vadodra. Since last 15 days, fast tag lane is under maintenance. There is no alternate provided for this. At one side government approach to digitalization. There is no response when it will start again. Due to the long queue time is westing daily bases.

                            At all toll plaza there are board of swachh bharat and none of your employees follow it. Whenever at exit of toll gate i ask them to throw toll tickets to dustbin then their reply is we don't have dustbin and we will throw it on roads only. I have registered complain multiple times to nadiad toll booth operator and their supervisor but no action has been taken yet. If you people do not want to follow your own guidelines then why to show off by user cleanliness banner.

                              This plaza is free for surat residents. I passed through last line which is for car and shown license for confirmation and they allowed me to go but after 2 min i received message from my bank that 70 rs. Toll has been taken by your toll.
                              This is not suppose to happen.

                              Greetings!
                              We are in receipt of your email dtd: 24.12.18, regarding single Journey charged from Fastag for GJ 01 registration vehicle registered under ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ portal. In this context, we would like to clarify as under:
                              1. We are carrying out toll operations at aforesaid toll plaza as per Concession Agreement executed with ‘National Highways Authority of India’ (NHAI) and guidelines issued by NHAI form time to time.
                              2. As per Govt.Notification No.S.O.2424 (E), (copy enclosed for ready reference), there is no exemption for any person or vehicle except as provided in the said Notification.
                              3. It may be noted that vehicles with GJ01 registration are not exempted at Choryasi Toll Plaza as per said notification. However, there is provision of discounted Monthly Pass for local residents (residing nearby toll plaza) for their non-commercial vehicles subject to fulfilling the conditions mentioned therein.
                              4. To avail this facility on Fastag (i.e. registration of Fastag as Local Tag), vehicle user needs to submit proper documents viz, vehicle registration documents, proof of residence etc. at Toll Plaza Administration Office. After verification of documents and if documents are found in order, Fastag is registered under Local Tag by the Toll Plaza. This usually takes 2-3 working days after submission of documents.
                              5. Apart from registration of ‘Fastag as local tag’, we have no role in payment processing under Fastag as it is automated process and payment is processed as per said notification. It appears that proper details were not shared with you by the Fastag selling agency.
                              6. In case you are eligible for local monthly pass as per user fee notification, you are requested to visit Choryasi Toll Plaza with required documents.

                                Today morning i spent more than 10 minutes at dehuroad toll plaza. There were only two cars before me. The first car had some dispute.

                                The staff should have taken that car at side and dealt with them. I lost valuable time. I need compensation of rupees 2000 for valuable time loss.

                                Also, you must train your staff so that in future people need not loose time.

                                2. We would like to assure you that there is conscious and continuous effort by us to avoid delay to user in crossing toll Plaza at all times. However, you will appreciate that there may be times when some vehicle users refuse to cooperate and/or are not sensitive to others.

                                3. We would also like to inform you that we are carrying out toll operations at aforesaid toll plaza as per the guidelines of ‘Maharashtra Road Development Corporation Ltd’ (MSRDC) and notification issued by Govt. of Maharashtra.                                   Respected sir/madam, myself aj d. Mehta from vadodara, gujarat, india. I am presently completing my degree from sardar vallabhbhai patel institute of technology, vasad, gujarat. Our institute is exactly located in vasad on n. H.8 behind the state transport depot. Most of the students commute from vadodara which is approximately 25 kms from vasad. The issue to be shared with you is about the toll plaza located at vasad which is built on n. H.8. Respectively. So, this is to inform you that we need to pay the toll tax of inr 175 (Return ticket) daily. This leads to very high transportation cost. Our institute is just 1 km from toll plaza but then also we need to pay the toll tax of inr 175 daily. So please a positive responce for this.                                   We are in receipt of your email dtd: 15.12.2018 relating to exemptions in the payment o[censored]ser fee for college vehicles at Vasad Toll Plaza on NH8, registered under ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ portal.
                                  In this regards, we would like to clarify as under :
                                  1. We are carrying out toll operations at aforesaid toll plazas as per the guidelines of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). User fee at toll plaza is collected as per National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008 and notification issued by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India.

                                  2. Please note that all concessions/discounts (including monthly passes) are governed by the notification issued by MoRTH for the Project. As per the notification issued by MoRTH for the said Project, there is no provision of exemption/concession in the payment o[censored]ser fee to any person/vehicle except as provided in the said notification.

                                  3. Please note that there is no provision of any exemption/concession for educational institution mentioned by you as per said notification. Therefore, we regretfully inform our inability to consider your request for any exemption/concession from payment o[censored]ser Fee.

                                    On tall. Units if there is line of 2 kilometers still your people don’t want to clear lines they just want to collect tall tax. After requesting him he don’t want to clear just want to collect tall tax. After telling him for complain he told me no problem u put video for complain i’ll become hero. So he don’t care fore anything just wants to collect tall tax weather people suffer for long ques & loose time & fuel also.

                                    We are in receipt of your email dtd: 30.11.2018 relating to traffic congestion experienced by you while traveling on NH No 8 at Charoti Toll Plaza, registered under ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ portal.

                                    At the outset, we sincerely apologize for inconvenience caused to you. We hereby inform that the matter has been investigated by us and would like to clarify as under:

                                    1. We are experiencing shortfall of lanes at Charoti Toll Plaza and the same is brought to notice of competent authority.

                                    2. We understand that you had asked for exemption form the payment o[censored]ser fee, which was refused by toll staff as your vehicle doesn’t under exemption category. The refusal of exemption led to some altercations between yourself and toll staff.

                                    3. We would like to inform you that there is no rule/notification from competent authority for non-collection o[censored]ser fee in the event of long queue of vehicles.

                                    4. From our side, we would like to assure you that there is conscious and continuous effort by us to avoid delay to commuters in crossing toll Plaza at all times. Please note the following arrangement made by us for fast clearance of traffic at Toll Plaza:
                                    a) Deployment of additional trained manpower with handheld ticketing ahead of toll booths.
                                    b) Provision of hand held RFID tag readers.
                                    c) Provision of reversible lanes.
                                    d) Provision of sufficient change & small denomination notes.

                                    5. We would also like to inform that any misbehavior by our personnel is strictly dealt by us and we have instructed our plaza team yet again to ensure proper conduct by our personnel. Please note that we provide periodical training for the job to our personnel including behavioral training to ensure quality services.

                                    6. Once again, we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused to you and highly appreciate your feedback as it will help us to improve our services.
