The shopping experience turns a nightmare from the word 'Go' if you choose Jabong to do the deed...!!!

I placed an order [protected] on March 04, 2014 and chose to check out as guest on the site. I have been doing it with other sites as well and never faced any issue. After making a successful online payment, I waited for Jabong to send the invoice msg to my id. It never appeared so i called to confirm about the order. The CCE told me about the order is confirmed and assured that it will be processed without any issue. I printed out payment details from payment portal and waited for the delivery.

Jabong decided to go with the split order. I received my first product i.e. a handbag and found it okay. The next day other part of the order was delivered i.e Tarama jegging. The moment I opened the package, it was clear that I got a wrong size and immidiately called jabong for return of the product, The CCE on the line explained the procedure and raised a request for the return e-form. It was on March 07, 2014 around 3 PM. According to that CCE I was to receive the form within 24 hours on my email and a reference number on my mobile. Getting them both I can return the product within 10 days of the return request thru their courier partners. I got the refence number but no mail. I waited for next two days but still no mail. On March 10, 2014I reported the same to Jabong team thru mail and phone call as well. The CCE again assured me that the same is sent and I will be getting it in moments. Still nothing was there.

I got suspicious that the possibility is that the security systems for my company id is not letting jabong attachment pass thru for my registered id. I access my id thru office machines only. So I called and mailed again to jabong team and provided the alternate id; a Gmail one. The guy assured me that he will update that on system and send the e-form attachment on my personal id after that.

I waited till evening still got nothing. Called again and this time a female CCE picked my call. I think she is the SMARTEST one amongst jabong team probably with the most innovative 'fool the customers' techniques... as she told me that the request is there but not processed as all the request for the day are collected and processed only at night...Really...thats some news about Jabongs' working culture...!!!

And here goes the promise of instant solutions...!!!

Anyways, I waited till 8:30 in evening and decided to call again. The person on line this time was Rahul Bhardwaj. Nice person to talk to and genuinely tried to help. He tried sending the form on my personal id while I access that on my machine...NO SUCCESS...he asked for another id...again a gmail one...still no success...he asked for a yahoo id...Bam...no delivery on yahoo as well...he ran to the technical team to sort the issue and they admitted that in such case its a technical problem at Jabongs' end that the particular mails are not getting delivered. He suggested me waiting again till morning and to report again if the problem persists while the technical team resolves the issue at night. The suggestion felt genuine enough so I checked all my ids in morning for the mail. But no luck this time as well. Another point for amusement was that while jabong id failed to deliver return forms...the days marketing newsletter mails msg...everything was raining in on my ids.

I called again and this time CCEs are quite familiar with my case. Their systems shows all the requests and calls i made in last 24 hours and their sing song voices have changed to the stubborn ones those just wanted to get rid of the situation. I asked her about the return form and she insisted me to send it on my own without any return form. I denied that completely bcoz when jabong system has failed to send a pdf file what is the surety it would not fail upon received the product and denies to acknowledge the return shipments and I an left with no product and no money. I want a proof in hand that the product is returned to them. Then she came with the idea of giving another pincode for the arrangement of the drop ship.

Like what...seriosly are you guys at Jabong that dumb that you want me to move to another place so that you guys do your job right.

Having pissed off enough, I insisted to talk to the supervisor. She came in with the real shockers.

1. According to her, Jabong was facing technical issues and the return forms can't be sent.
2. She again suggested me to travel to another place to drop ship the packet. I am at Panipat and would have to go to Delhi if I go with her suggestions. Great...!!!
Then why wouldn't I shop there physically without bothering shopping online. What is the purpose of your site if I need to travel such length. Please keep your services to yourself only...we would find our sellers in market ourselves...!!!
3. She claimed that the drop ship facility for my place has been taken back...oh when...you mean overnight when you failed to send the return forms. Then why is it still showing on your websites. Why haven't you mailed me to inform about the same. Why is there no update on you facebook page.

Nice try jabong...but sorry to bust the bubble...it doesn't work in your favor.

After having enough sh** from her, I disconnected and after cooling down started to pack the products with the thoughts of sending the package back on my own and my miseries got another raise. I draw out the invoice that jabong sent me in the first courier and it was only for the handbag. No mention of the jagging and in second package also there was no invoice only the jegging with a poly cover bearing jabong code. Applauds...!!!

I call jabong again to confirm their procedures in the case where customers send the package on their own and there she mentions the Original invoice...and people that too when...the jabong hasn't sent it not on email id and not in hard copy with the product. I inform her about the new findings about the invoice goo[censored]p and she runs to her supervisor and is given with the solution that i need to send my product back with an a4 size paper with order id, product returned and my name mentioned on it, not forgetting to mention that about the confirmation of products receiving at the warehouse she can't promise anything and I can track it down with courier tracking id.
It couldn't have gone any worst...!!!

My question is that a return form and an original invoice is their ultimate condition for the return so that it goes down to their warehouse safe and intact. Then how do the suggest their customers to send the product back without any of these things and still not worry about the product and money all getting lost...????????

Well...team Jabong that is a real nice way to pocket all the customers' money as well as returned shipments.

Another thing to mention is that Jabong sent me a referral points of RS 100 on my id on the Morning of March 11, 2014 which for me was their try to sooth my nerves for all the mess going on. But I wasn't neither impressed nor interested having them...and the funniest thing happens...Jabong takes them back as well after my last call...!

The final nail in the coffin is...I confirmed calling their courier service partners i.e. First Flight Courier Ltd, Panipat about the jabong drop return facility withdrawal from the site...and they confirmed that the service is still there with them and have no clues about it taken back from the site.

Now all I have is

1. No online/ hard-copy Invoice
2. No return form
3. A misfit useless jegging
4. A bucket full of Jabong Customer care Executives' appologies, trash totally, bcoz they don't really care for their customers.
5. Roughest experience of online shopping
6. An advice to all to totally ignore Jabong.com for the sake of their Money, time and Patience.

The transaction, I was expecting to be the worst one on my online purchase history list actually turned out to be a nice and cheerful one.

Yeah...after filing this complaint, I received a call from Mr. Gaurav who understood my frustration and gave instant solution. As a customer I understand that such wrongs can happen but what I expect is an excellent after service/post care which was not there when I raised my issue multiple times and team was not able to resolve the matter due to technical faults that Mr. Gaurav explained to me was going on at Jabongs' end at that time. He offered me an exchange without returning the misfit product that I wanted to return. Well...that was a very generous solution.

I got my jegging two days back but bcoz of festivities during these days, I could not update status here on the same day. I am very happy that after some bad reponses...Jabong came forward to solve the issue and made me feel important and worthy customer again.

I am looking forward to order more things I was interested in and hope Jabong to remain on my favorite shopping sites list from now on.

I am all ready to return the wrong sized product...Please inform me when your courier partners are ready to collect that. When I strive for good customer care, I also look for not to take any unfair privilege of being one.

Just one update for the team, The product I got as replacement was also without any invoice. Since the zero value order was raised, i doubt its a practise to drop one in package or not in such cases. But otherwise please inform your partner groups to check all the parameters before sending the packages.

Hey Guys,

I am having a torrid time with JABONG and having sleepless nights :( for the past one week.

I bought from Jabong, an Arrow trouser, Navy Blue, 36" size, REGULAR FIT..a week back
and what i received was an Unwearable Narrow slim fit trouser, which did not even enter my legs.
There is NOT even a product code mentioned on the sticker.
On top of it the JAVAs team which does the courier work, was in such a kind o[censored]rgency that he did not even wanted to wait for a minute after delivering the wrong product.
On the same day I raised a complaint with Jabong team and from that day onwards it started what I call it as "JABONG TORTURE".
Every day someone will call and confirm if I want a replacement, once i confirm the details he will say that he will escalate it accordingly and do the needful. But again the second day another fellow from customer support of JABONG will call again and take down the same old details which I had provided the day before. Like this it is six days now and still waiting for the correct product.

Now to TOP it all, now they are saying that they dont have an exact replacement of the correct size and correct fit.
Hence they they will provide some other equivalent product of a different brand which I agreed to. But still they are yet to replace it with that. I am frustrated and dont know how many more days this torture will continue.


Please never ever try this E-commerce seller called JABONG to buy any product. This E-com SELLER JABONG is a CHEAT. This is my opinion so far, as I am having a torrid time so far.
Being a poor Indian customer, I have lost all hopes now!

size problem

I have ordered a shirt With order no. [protected] Denim Washed Roll Up Sleeve Shirt PH969MA62ZGBINDFAS-1557060 size was 40...please replace the size to 39

I had placed an order with number [protected] on 18 September for value of 2500 but delivered worth value of 1400 Rupees and other 1100 Rupee products are missing. Where are my products? Otherwise give back my money.

ORDER NO. : 141016445886439 been nearly a month and the product is not yet delivered and no information of current status

I ordered two formal shirts and one was delivered 1-2 days before delivery day but the other order has not yet been delivered. Its going to be almost a month now. No current information about the status. Very very disappointing.
