Kodak — Given defective Kodak Android 50inches TV

Dear Kodak customer Care team,

This is regarding my complaint to Kodak customer care. Complaint no. is DE0920TV11358. Kodak persons are also taking it seriously. I am extremely upset with such a worst services.

I have purchased Kodak Android TV, 50 Inches-1 No. from Flipkart on 15 August’20 amounting to Rs 26499/- (Invoice attached) along with complete Protection warranty amounting to Rs 2099/- (Total expense Rs 28, 598/-), which got delivered on 20 August’20. Initial 15 days it was working well but from 3 September’20 onwards it started creating problem. When I switch on the TV, its light got green but nothing is visible on screen. Only sounds are coming but picture is not coming. (Images and videos are attached for your ready reference)

I have registered complaints on flipkart complete protection against the problem which I am facing with new Kodak Android led TV. My Complaint no CLCP[protected] KODAK 50 INCH LED PROBLEM. After complaining, one Technician visited my place, checked the TV and told that the Panel of the TV is not working. And after that no response received.

I had contacted talk to owner of Service centre on his mobile no [protected], which is in Faridabad. He informed me that he is unable to upload the documents on Jeeves site, as this site is not working from last 3 to 4 days.

I am very much upset with the services which Flipkart is serving. Flipkart and seller has provided defected TV to me which is not even working. My new TV got dead within 35 days. This is totally unacceptable. Why should I pay Rs 28, 598/- for this defected TV? If they change panel then there is no guarantee that it will run for a longer period. I will not keep this defective piece any longer with me.

Hence, I need either total refund or replacement of this defected TV with new TV. I am lodging report in consumer court against Flipkart, service centre and Jeeves to get this issue resolved.

Today I received call from one of the Flipkart executive regarding my complaint against Defective Kodak android TV, 50 Inches-1 No. (which purchased on 15 August). It was very much surprising when FlipKart Executive asked about the payment, according to him I have not made any payment of Kodak TV. Hence, I would like to inform you that I have made the payment of Rs 28598/- through my Citi Bank credit card on 15 August. Credit card statement attached herewith for you ready reference which is mentioning this transaction. On 15 August two transactions of Rs 28598/- (twice) made which happened due to system error. And after that on 17 August one transaction of Rs 28598/- has been credited. All these transactions can be checked in the attached statement.

Why every time Flipkart executives try to make new story?
Are Flipkart team so kind who deliver products without making any payment?

This kind of behaviour is really unacceptable. I am very much upset with the services which Flipkart is serving. Flipkart and seller has provided defected TV to me which is not even working. After so many follow –ups I am not getting any satisfactory answer.

Is this the way flipkart cheat innocent people?

As requested earlier, I need either total refund or replacement of this defected TV with new TV. I will not keep this defective piece at all.

Please get this issue resolved on priority and replace this defective TV with new one.
