Livpure — Got a demand notice from livpure asking for 15000 rs

I want to inform you that on 28.04.2024, I had applied for the subscription of RO water filter from www.livpuresmart.com by paying a monthly subscription of Rs.499 and one time refundable deposit of Rs.1499. But due to some unavoidable circumstances, I talked on their customer care number [protected] on 28.04.2024 evening to raise the cancellation request and not to deliver the RO machine they said that the cancellation request has been raised and within 24hrs their cancellation team will call me and guide me for the refund process. But I did not recieve any call so i called their customer care again, I was told that no cancellation request has been raised but now it has been raised and within 24hrs cancellation team will call for further refund process. Again 24hrs lapsed and no call came and again I called and they repeated the same thing 2-3 times.

On 02.05.2024 morning, I recieved a call from [protected], a lady was speaking and she told that she is from cancellation team and wanted to know the reason why i wanted to go for the cancellation, however she insisted me to atleast take 7-day free trial of the RO machine but I explained her my problem and made my stand clear that i don't want the delivery of the RO machine and want my refund. I was assured by her that after some time i will be getting a link where i have to give my acount details for the refund, but I did not recieve any message after that.

But to my surprise on the same day i.e. on 02.05.2024 evening, I recieved a text message from Delhivery that RO machine is out for delivery and after sometime i got the call[protected] from the delivery person and he was at my doorstep with the RO machine. He did not knew hindi/English but knew only Tamil. On the other hand I did not know Tamil, but howsoever with the help of my neighbour, I tried to explain him that i have already applied for the cancellation so I will not take the machine. Then he went back but after 5-10 minutes 'your RO machine has successfully been delivered' message came to my mobile from Delhivery.

After that on the same day i.e. on 02.05.2024 night, I sent the email to the livpure's official mail [protected]@livpuresmart.com regarding the whole issue. I had also talked to their customer care staffs on calls and this whole thing continued upto June-2024 but they failed to resolve the issue.
Even the company's carrier service 'Delhivery' is showing on its app that the Machine is lost. I also tried to contact the delivery person on his number, but he had blocked my number earlier but yesterday he replied that it was the company(Delhivery's) mistake that the 'successfully delivered' message was sent to me. And as per him the company(Delhivery) also deducted his 1 week's salary and threatened him not to disclose this.

The livpure company has neither been replying to my mails nor resolving the issue. Now adding to my sorry state of affairs on 07.08.2024 evening the RO livpure company from their whatsapp no.+[protected] have sent a .pdf file of written DEMAND NOTICE of Rs.15, 000 on my Whatsapp Number- [protected] and threatening me of criminal proceeding under IPC-406 Criminal Breach of Trust.

In this connection, it is therefore requested to please look into the matter and save me from the continuous mental harassment by the RO company. I have attached all the documents supporting the above state of affairs for you reference and it is humbly requested to go through all the enclosures attached.
