Before Covid, we flatmates had subscribed to the livpure smart RO plan in March 2020 in our rented flat in Bangalore. We used the plan for a month or two before leaving for hometown in May. We came back once to Bangalore to clear out the house during which time, we raised a ticket to return the RO. The RO got dismantled and picked up soon afterwards and the ticket got closed. After this, we left back to our hometown but I who had booked this service, continued receiving calls form the team asking when it can be picked up. These calls came every week and I responded same always that pickup has been done and to update the same in records. Last year July, I received a message from the team that there is no response from our end and a threaten for a demand notice. I responded on the same as well mentioning device has been picked up already. This month, we received a legal notice from Livpure to pay the equipment fees plus legal charges...which is 15k + 10k... the notice says that the item has not been returned when there is already a ticket resolved for the same. And that I have not responded to their calls and messages which again is false if someone wants to check their company records. I also have the screenshot of message that I got and my reply...this is blatant harrssment of customer due to ignorance at best and malvolence at worst...and should be punished. I'm facing similar issues where the machine was uninstalled almost 3 years ago and they are harassing me now with a legal notice and pending charges for the last ~2 years. I have multiple email threads where I have raised this and they haven't replied to a single email thread. This is their strategy to make money.
