My friend also received this mail, and from the first look of it I can say without doubt that this is yet another scam. They have given you two options-
1)To come to UK and
2) to pay the sum to Eagle Courier. Naturally no one will take the first option.
So you will be asked to pay the sum. This itself clearly shows that it is fake.

I fullly disagree with this type of donation, lorrtery, prize in a draw of randum email etc. All these are fake. This is another type of 419 scam (prevalent in Nigeria) Of course I have also asked them to stipulate any other condition for getting the donated amouint and laptop. Let them reply. I will reply suitably. I do not understant why a corporate like Microsoft encourages such fraudulant transactions.

I have also received similar e-mails and not sure what to do.. I agree that no one can donate so much of money to so many people. But is there any one who can confirm the source and motive of such e-mails.

I also received verbatim of the email. I also did not understand the logic behind donating such a huge sum to an unknown person and that too from a corporate sector like Microsoft windows. Initially I was reluctant and did not take notice of their emai. When I received the second one (verbatim of the second one) I was eager to know what it could be. No doubt I was sure that it is nothing but fraud. However, I wanted some materialistic evidence for my second book. The first book is about Nigerian 419 scam, which will be published very soon. In order to get further evidence, I wrote to them and immediately they asserted my email and sent me a confirmation asking me to foot the Airport clearnce charges so that they could make arrangement to deliver the parcel containing 150, 000, 000GBP, supporting document that the money is not got through laundering, a hp Laptop in Brown colour whch perturbed to be included at the last hour. I, further wanted to get some more material from them. I emailed them that I agree with them and wanted them to stipulate the terms and conditions. With in a couple of hours some one contacted me through my cell and told that they are from Microsof windows and he has arrived along with the consignment at NewDelhi International Airport. He wanted me to come to NewDelhi and pay RS.24, 000/- for airport clearance so that the parcel could be delivered to me. The initial demand by them was Rs.18, 350/- and it has gone up to Rs.24, 000/- I dilly dallyed them and they were repeatedly contacting me to get some money from me. Once I told them I have only Rs.15, 000/- left with me and the contact person agreed for the same and asked me to remit the amount throgh ICICI Bank account the account number he agreed to message me. But though the message came, I could not open it. This carried on for a day and finally, I sent a email thanking them for all the materialistic evidence they provided me for my writing.

According to the email, their deplomatic person name Dr. Ego Brown was arrived at Delhi in 27/07/10 and contract me on 28/07/10 for Custom clerence charges. And as informing I deposited the amount of Rs.25000/- on the custom officer in charge.as mention I had deposited it, I have a copy of Clerence receipt,

After custom clerence, he deposided the prize fund on 29/07/10, he send a RBI, Personal information sheet and a RBI deposit certificate to fill up, for deposit the money,and transection to my local acount. and asking for conversion fee of it,of Rs.68000/-.
