Poor Quality

I have been buying cadbury dairy milk since my childhood and it is my favourite chocolate. But for the past few months, the quality of chocolate is very poor.The taste is also not very good.This is not the same old cadbury dairy milk it used to be....

      I bought the latest pokemon edition Oreo cookies family pack which says there is a Pokemon card inside every pack. This pack did not have any pokemon card. This seems like a scam since I bought the family pack only for the card.

        I am writing to lodge a serious complaint regarding your product, Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. On 4th December 2024, I purchased the chocolate from a shop opposite Navodaya Medical College, Raichur district. Upon opening the packaging, I was shocked to find visible fungus/mold on the product, indicating a severe lapse in quality control.

        This is an alarming health hazard and an unacceptable failure from a reputed brand like Cadbury, which is trusted for maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Such negligence not only endangers consumers' health but also erodes the brand's credibility.

        I demand a prompt investigation into this issue and substantial compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused. Additionally, I seek a detailed explanation of how this lapse occurred and the corrective measures being implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future.

        Should I not receive a satisfactory response within 7 days, I will be compelled to escalate this matter to consumer protection agencies, regulatory authorities, and public platforms to safeguard other consumers from such experiences.

        I have attached photographic evidence and relevant purchase details for your reference. I look forward to your immediate action.

            I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I experienced with your product, Cadbury Gems Home Treats. Upon opening the packet, I was disappointed to find that the Gems inside were in uncut strips and the inside gems crushed and damaged. There were loose gems found at the bottom of the packet. This completely defeated the purpose of the product, as it was not in the condition I expected or paid for.

              Dear Cadbury India,

              I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern regarding a recent incident involving a spoiled Cadbury product. On 17th November, I purchased a Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut bar from Bhutpurva ARDH Sainik Canteen with an expiry date of November 2024.

              To my utter dismay, upon opening the product, I discovered that it had deteriorated, exhibiting a foul odor and a rancid taste. This is unacceptable, especially considering the product was well within its expiry date.

              I visited the shop to report the issue, but unfortunately, the shopkeeper was unwilling to address the problem or provide a refund.

              As a long-time consumer of Cadbury products, I have always held the brand in high regard. However, this incident has severely tarnished my trust in your quality control measures.

              I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and take immediate action to address the issue. I expect a swift resolution, I do not want the full refund but they could've just provided me with a replacement product.

              I have attached a copy of the receipt for your reference along with the pictures of the chocolate. I look forward to a timely and satisfactory resolution.

                I bought Cadbury bournville intense 70% dark chocolate from Zepto, I opened it few days later to eat and ate most of it until I reached the last block of chocolate and saw there was a big dead fly inside the chocolate.

                I am pure vegetarian / Jain and I am deeply hurt by this, also I already put an email to the company's customer care yet I have not received any response from them neither they have responded on twitter where I have put the images too.

                  I bought 2 five-star chocolate boxes from a nearby store and all the chocolates inside the box are spoiled and has whitish, spotty layer. The boxes and every chocolate package have a valid date as well. Please help me out to sort out my problem. I even tried calling the customer care number, but it didn't connect. When I went to the shop and asked him about it, he is not responding properly. How can such a big company be so irresponsible like this. These chocolates have eaten by our children, and I am scared of the future consequences due to this. Please make sure that I get a solution for this. I am very disappointed, dairy milk is the brand which we trusted i am highly disappointed i need some action to be taken.

                        Respected Sir/Ma'am

                        The issue pertains to expired product Cadbury Celebrations Rich Dry Fruit purchased from Reliance Retail Store. On 17th July, 2024, we purchased Cadbury Celebrations Rich Dry Fruit having MRP of Rs. 375/- at a Marked Down Price of Rs. 40/-. The picture of box with the marked down slip and the invoice is attached herewith at Image 1-5 for your kind reference.

                        It is brought to your kind attention that the box bears usage date till July 2024. However, the packets inside the box had consumption date till June 2024. Please refer images numbered 6-7 for the expiry information.

                        From the perusal of the seal on the box, it appears that the boxes have been changed. In other words, the expired product has been transferred to the boxes with validity remaining.

                        One would witness from the stickers of the Cadbury on the side of the box, that there exists one more imprint of a circular sticker which shows that some old stickers were replaced with the new ones. The fact that the code no. of the packers inside and the code no. of the box is different also brings home the point that the packets have actually been replaced. Please take cognizance of Image no. 8-9 showing the marks of old stickers. Also please refer the Images 10-13 where the code of the box is different from the code of individual packets.

                        It is really saddening to see such a giant company indulging in these malpractices.

                        We expect you to take cognizance of such a grave issue endangering the lives of consumers. If the same remains unattended, we shall be forced to take the matter to judicial authorities and social media platforms.

                            I bought 10 rupees orea biscuit, usually 5 biscuits in the pack to meet the weight, but in this pack 4 biscuits only packed in the packaged no. P[protected]B3B.

                              Support received by Mondelez :-
                              In 1 month, a software with user id and password a display, were i cant event punch order
                              One day join visit for sales in my location

                              Promised by Mondelez, to successfully run the business
                              1. Training & Support of Mondelez sales person weekly 1once on Friday and jointly taking orders from shop- Non happening
                              2. Promoting distributor in my area, a friz was promised on 1 st of week of April- Not happening
                              3. Cut outs or stickers to promote Mondelez presence in the locality - Not happening.

                              Key ask to successfully run this rural – sub D channel
                              1) For first 2 month, mondelez sales visiting weekly once
                              2) Shop, with display of chocolate ensuring the promotion and distributor availability in the locality
                              3) Orders manipulation, mentioning non available of stock and selling alternate. Instead of win win situation, simply over burdening the budget

                                Respected Sir,
                                I bought Cadbury chocolate worth Rs= 21, 053/- from Acharya Enterprise of Keshiary on 22/03/2024.
                                But due to lack of Vci cooler/Fridge to keep chocolate in my shop, most of the Cadbury chocolate is melted, so customers are not willing to spend money to buy this melted Cadbury chocolate.

                                🛑🛑🛑 If the company doesn't provide a VCI cooler/Fridge for my store, in the scorching heat of this summer season, I won't be stocking Cadbury chocolate again.

                                I told you my problem long ago, but till now I didn't get any positive feedback.

                                I've attached my recent invoice of RS 21, 053/-, Dated 22/03/2024.

                                  Am from a small town in Tamilnadu, excat location is coonoor, The niligiris. Pin 643202.
                                  I run a small grocery shop.. Shop name is SRI SAI MINI MART. HOSSATTY. COONOOR THE NILIGIRIS.

                                  Last 1 year no proper supply of Cadbury chocolate to my shop same time it's been supplied to all other BIG shop in the same area.

                                  I approached the dealer, approached the marketing person from Cadbury but no response.

                                  If I order 10 products I was given only 1 products out of the 10. But case is not same for other shops. Why this partiality? Is it because of my small shop? Or is it because of am a Hindhu.??? ( all other BIG shops are MUSLIMS SHOPS)

                                    Sir,

                                    With due respect I want to state that I am Sudipta Bera, an employee of the Health department, I purchased a Cadbury Celebration Pack for my 7 years old son. Expiry dates of the pack 18.02.2024. Means it will be used by 18.02.2024. But today means on 18.02.2024 when I open the celebration pack to take chocolate, all of them totally damaged and fragile when I open the wrapper of chocolates one by one. Whereas expiry dates of damaged chocolate seen from the wrapper is May, 2024. All the chocolates of this celebration pack spoiled and I threw it to the dustbin. With this I also threw away 150 rupees which I spent to buy it.

                                    It is not expected form Cadbury Like Company and please suggest what to do.

                                      I have repetitive reached out to the fellow local recognized dealers of Mondelez, but no response.

                                      My Name is Aquilin Nadar- [protected]. The location is Chimbipada, Bhiwandi. This location falls as a gram panchayat location but 10 mins far from Bhiwandi. I have been continuously chasing the [protected]@mdlz.com. After few response, of help will be delivered, they have stopped responding without a solution.

                                      My objective was get Mondelez products to my shop. But since no dealership was available, i requested if there is no option i would continue to take dealership as well if that is the case.

                                      The communication is attached for your review and reference. Request your support, being such a big brand and well know products. Glad to have it in my shop. Also if any areas i can be part of this brand as well, will be glad to contribute. But please find out a way out. Thanking you.
