i have my resume on this monsterindia.com since i passed my engineering in the year 2009...now i am about to finish my mba in healthcare...i have regularly been updating my resume continually since then...after engineering and mba what jobs am i being offered are of BPOs, receptionist, secretary, etc....also i posted a feedback 2 days ago regarding my dissatisfaction, no response....i wonder do they want to exist in this market or not....

    dear sirs
    I have already complained through this forum about monsterindia.com. I have paid them an amount of Rs.3520/- on 17/2/10 by my HSBC card for providing their services of "Resume Drafting". Despite several reminders and aslo telephonic calls I haven't got my services done.It is past seven months and hence the very relevance of the purpose for which I have hired their services is lost. As such I have asked them to refund my money paid.It is still pending. My ID No:602790 Can I expect justice from them or will it a voice in wilderness?

      I have paid an amount of Rs.3520/- towards payment for resume writing on 17/2/2010( ID no:602790).Even after several reminders(through email) and also telephonic reminders nothing moved. I had even sent my draft resume for the details as suggested by one, Mr. ASHWIN KUMAR ,a couple of months ago.My subsequent attempts of reminding them has met with an Auto reply saying "Out of Station". Due to the inordinate delay the very purpose of resume writing is defeated. Hence, I have requested them to refund my money since the service was not provided.Can I expect justice ?

        I am prafull v deshmukh having MCA 2009 passout student.I am taking monster seeker service for getting job calls. The duration of service is 3 months but i am getting any call from him.Then i am talked with responsible person & they extend my service but still they will not able to provide single call for me.
        When i was called them they always give me new suggestion but it's useless.Right now, i am frustrated because my valuable time & money was losed.

        Please help me to find right way from this situation.

          Monsterindia.com first get their one sided agreement signed from their customers, then they stop giving services and then they ask for the full payment for the remaining period of the contract on the pretext of 'No Exit' clause. By this way without giving any service to customer, Monsterindia.com squeeze money from their customers otherwise threaten them for legal actions.

          Strict action should be taken against this company and a large awareness should be created among people so that no one should become victim of their such mindful fraudulent activity.

          I am facing problem for sending bulk mail. Since they have put the limitation on that, but before taking the monster service this thing has been already communicated from moster end that the limitation on sending the bulk mail is just for the security reason and whenever there is an requirement for more mailers just we have to put the mail and the issue will be resolve. But after taking the service the way of communication and the commitment what from moster are totally unsatisfied.

            Monsterindia.com are getting their Agreement signed from the customers with a lots of false promises and assurances through their representatives. This Agreement has got a long list of terms and conditions which include that customer will have to pay full price for the full term, irrespective of fact whether Monsterindia.com provides its assured services or not.

            After getting the agreement signed, they stop the services but keep asking for payments for the period they never provided services, otherwise keep harrassing their customers threatening legal actions against them.

            My story with Monsterindia.com is given below:

            MONSTER.COM STORY


            FACTS OF THE CASE



            1 Prachi Vir, Account Manager of Monster.com approached us (Jenters Consulting Private Limited) and requested us to enter into a service agreement for 1 year (starting from 14/2/2009 and ending On 13/2/2010) and assured us of high quality services whereby we will be Able to screen high number of desired profiles. She also assured that she Will arrange training for all our recruiters in our office at least for 3 Full days.

            2 On the basis of her assurances and promises we entered into an agreement and accordingly Handed over 4 cheques for Rs.29, 495 each on account of quarterly Installments for the contract.

            3 Our first cheque for Rs.29, 495 was encashed immediately but in turn, neither
            We received any training for our staff nor we were able to screen even a
            single suitable profile for our clients. We called Monsters more than 100
            times and sent various communication (through e-mail as well as through
            courier) but no one showed up so far, inspite of their various promises and
            assurances by their various officers viz. Prachi Vir, Meenu Bhat, Anuj Arora, Hoor Mehdi but I am sorry to say that till date not even a single person has visited our office nor tried to resolve our problem.

            4 In view of the above, after wasting Rs.29, 495 on account fee for the first
            Quarter and after bearing big losses due to Monster’s inefficient and poor
            services, we decided to discontinue their services and sent them another
            letter warning them if no one will come to attend our problem, we will be
            left with no other choice but to stop the balance payment of 3 cheques.

            5 On not receiving any satisfactory reply from Monster, we stopped the payment for The balance 3 cheques.

            6 On 15th June, 2009 we received a mail from Mr. Hoor Mehdi informing us that
            They have discontinued our services.

            7 On 3rd August, 2009 we received a mail from Mr. Rajiv Nair of Monster asking us to make the payment for the services they have already disconnected. He also further threatened that if they will not receive the payment within 48 hrs, Monster will harass us by initiating legal proceedings. While talking with undersigned over phone he also said that there was a ‘No Exit’ clause in the agreement, so whether we are getting services or not, we cannot stop the payment and will have to keep paying for the balance 3 quarters.


            CONCLUSION:

            Monster.com is not bothered whether or not its customers are getting any services. By just inserting one ‘No Exit’ clause in the agreement, they want to exploit their customers and expect a fixed ‘PENSION’ amount without giving any services.


            REQUEST

            This is a very serious issue and we should not tolerate such fraudulent companies in our society. As already discussed, please put this Story on the top priority and expose the mala fide intentions and un-ethical practice including poor services of Monster.com. so that they should not be able to exploit their customers and blackmail them on the pretext of so called ‘No Exit’ clause.
            Thanks a lot for posting the story. I had recently connected to meenu bhat and they were selling me the database @ 1 lac. You saved my money! On phone, i think she was very helping. But your story tells different.

            I am also passing through similar situation, I stopped payment for all remaining cheques, account deactivated and monster is sending letters for legal action and asking to pay money for 1 year while we already asked to stop account just after a month.

            Please let me know your contact details "Balvinder Sharma" it may help me to come out from this situation safely.
            Same thing is happening here. We hired Monster Service 3 Months back but the database and services offered are not proper, due to which we were not getting good business not even we struggled to get profiles for our own development unit but we got very few profiles matching to our requirements. Rather than this we got good response from Social Networking and Some references.
            So we decided to stop the service and we stopped our payments and now these guys are telling us that you have to pay amount or we can have legal actions against your company. We are able to spoil the reputation and name of your business in entire network and lot of blah blah.
            Please do suggest us what we can do in this case as we are having good relation with our clients and we really don't want to pay them useless amount and not even we want to spoil our reputation only due to such useless service.
            Even I am facing the same Problem ...What can be done I want to know what can they do if I stop cheques ...
            I am experiencing exactly same problem... Now kindly advice me in this situation

              While working for a Recruitment Consulting Company, our director had signed an agreement with Monsterinda.com for service of 1 yr database, job posting usage with them and to be paid for the term in 4 installments, split across the term. Towards the payment, instead of Cheques, they got an ECS Signed by our Director. Sometime later due to market trends, we realised we are making huge loss and wanted out of the agreement.

              That is when we realised that MOnster india can only stop services to us on non payment, but we cannot stop services and payment, because in the ECS they got signed is irerevocable by us. The agreement is not specific about the exit clause for customer, but only for the company. Is such agreements valid???? They were forcing us to continue usage and cut services after a month. But have issued legal notice asking us to pay them for the agreement term. Is this not harassment? Can some one give us a legal opinion on this action of Monsterindia.com

                We had bought a limited usage service package from Monsterindia.com for a period of 1 year starting from March 2008 to Feb 2009 where we were promised for providing the following by monster in a written email:
                - 25, 000 Email Invetory
                - 3000 CV views
                - 100 Job Postings

                In month of October they internally changed the package where they mentioned that they will provide only 5000 email inventory every month from Oct 2008 i.e. only 20% of what they had committed earlier. We refused that we wont accept and asked that the, for the following option
                - Either give us 25, 000 Email invetor that was commited or
                - Refund our money back

                It took them 24 days to tell us that they will not be able to increase the inventory. In this period of 24 days we had called them more then 35 times and sent 8 emails but there was hardly any response by emails or to our calls. Every person in the company said that we will look into the matter but after that no one wil call or follow up. At last they said that they will return the money and thus deactivated the account on 25th Oct.

                We received a refund cheque only for a period of 4 months rather then 5 months. Their answer to remianing 1 month was that our account was deactivated on 25th and thus login was available for the use.

                However when they have changed their services in between of the term then they shall return the money for the cvomplete remianing period and why shall we care when they deactivate the account.

                There has been many such cases that came across us after we faced this problem who have suffered from cuh problems with Monster India.com.

                We also request every individual associated or using services of monster to be very careful.

                Yes, I totally agree that people using monsterindia has to be very careful in their dealings. some personal exp for us too with them in financial matters.
