I am sudhansu sekhar panda writing this email on behalf of my father shri dhirendra kumar panda.
With reference to nesco consumer number bg - 78212, a/c no[protected] and meter no-989773,
I want to inform you that the said meter was not working since april 2016. When it was observed that the meter reading count is not increasing, then it has been reported to nesco office and a written complaint was submitted to electrical je seregarh, balasore and one copy of the same was submitted to electrical sdo nilgiri, balasore on may 27, 2016 subject to requesting for change the faulty meter.
From april 2016 onwards electricity bill for the said meter was coming with minimum billing amount. As we have given complaint to change the meter so we didn’t paid the bill and waited for action to be taken.
But after waiting for so long when no action has been taken then as a reminder again a new written complaint letter was submitted to electrical sdo nilgiri balasore dated aug 18, 2017. Afterwards again another written complaint letter was submitted to electrical sdo nilgiri on june 30, 2018.
From last 3 years my father had given complaints by personal visiting nesco seregarh and nilgiri offices so many times and given written complaints requesting to rectify or change the meter but till march 2019 there was no action taken.
On april 2019 the faulty meter was changed after so may request and by personally visiting nesco office and as per nesco official instruction need to wait for next two months bill generation upon which the pending and arrear bill amount will be calculated on the basis of next two months meter reading.
Below are the meter readings:
1. May 2019- meter reading count is 25
2. June 2019- meter reading count is 36
After visiting nesco office with the two months bills for the payment, the officials have calculated and said to pay rs 13070/- and i had to pay the same amount.
But the amount is very high as compared to my meter readings. As per me on average meter reading for the same is in between 10 to 20 and if we calculate with the same unit for 3 years the amount will come very less. Then why i had to pay this higher amount.
Basis on the above i need revised bill as per my average bill unit came. So requesting you to take the action and revised the bill and kindly refund the additional amount i paid.
