[Resolved] Ortel Communications — Crappy service never choose Ortel | |||||
Ortel has only attractive plans on paper. But they neither have infrastructure nor customer service. I had horrible experience taking ortel. My parents told me, but i thought 5mbps is a good speed and let me take it. I have been raising complains every day from the day i have taken connection. A new complain number is registered and the only answer i get from them is technical team will resolve it. Astonishingly, the internet goes away from 5pm to next day 11am. Why should i pay 699 if i have to call them every day? Within 2 weeks, i have raised close to 10 complain numbers. I am sure the numbers will go on increasing. Highly unprofessional customer care executives. They talk on top of our voice, mute the phone and don't listen to our problems. I heard some ladies giggling with their colleagues by keeping aside their headsets while i was explaining my problem. They have the audacity to tell - our duty is to lodge a complain. Any other issue, you come and talk in office. They don't have a senior official to whom we can contact over phone. They dont have any point of escalation. How does it solve my purpose when i am daily raising complain. Sometimes their server is down. Sometimes, my modem is offline and at other times, i get less than 1 mbps even after taking 5 mbps connection. When i raised complains daily, at the 5th time, they have selectively allowed 5mbps for a particular website, i. E. Speedtest.net. So, when i browse that website to check my speed, i get 5mbps, but browsing all other websites and applications (Like email, skype) does not even connect properly. Even ping to google.com takes 332ms with 3 request timed out for every 4 pings. And then they say, check in speedtest.net you will see 5 mbps. They think we are it illiterate persons, and do not have the idea of proxy and qos and do not understand how they do this. I am thoroughly dissatisfied, frustrated and tired taking ortel as a service. I will never recommend to take ortel to anyone. We all are educated people, and don't mind paying 700 inr monthly. But we expect a consistent service and professional behaviour from customer care executives. * this is not a fake complain, if some one wants to reach out to me at [protected]@gmail.com I can give you all details of complain ids, customer executive names, my customer number.
