I went to my native town called Porumamilla recently,I have puchased frooti 3 pet bottles bigger one with MRP Rs. 25 but it was charged for Rs.27.00 and 3 small pet bottles with MRP Rs.13 was charged for Rs.15.00 The Stall Name was Manikanta Cool Drinks located just before the entrance to the Bus Station of Porumamilla.Infact i tried to call the toll free number on the pet bottle but no response.

It is noted that in almost all Stalls in bus stations in Andhra Pradesh & tamilnadu wherever i have visited are charging all the eatable products beyond MRP.
It is very very serious issue and i wish to know the mechanism to eradicate such a drastic crime in india.
The stalls may be raided and fined heavily and it should be a lesson for all.
This not only hitting the common man and it is open crime.
Kindly advise the action to be initiated.Serious action to be initiated against the above mentioned Parle agro company as well as against the stall
Kindly note these stall owners are earning the harde earned money iterms of overcharging.

I worked over 3 years to get Parle Product biscuits and confectionery into a very large
Supermarket Coles in Australia. We imported one shipment from them. We got a Trade Mark on
the name of Parle to protect us. When we asked them for the second shipment, they
threatened us that they would withdraw stock, unless we withdrew our Trade Mark.
Our buyer told us that that would happen.
They destroyed our business by withdrawing stock.
After a few years, they stealthily got their biscuits into small Indian stores in Australia
and contravened our Trade Mark.
Then they put up a case against us with IP Australia. We could not afford legal backing.
They used expensive legal firms.
We fought the case and lost.
Today they are now claiming $2795 from us !
These Companies make you do work for them for free and use you and once you get their
products in, they intimidate you so they can supply directly to the large Companies.
They are ruthless !
DO NOT do any work for this Company. They will burn you and the sting will be worse than
the bite.
Their packaging is bad.
We found insects in one of their biscuit packets. They ignored us when we asked for a lab
report on that contaminated packet.
We helped them to improve their packaging for sales to Coles. We helped them arrange bar
codes, food authority permission, labels, food ingredient displays etc.
We went shop to shop to sell their products and market them to small Companies. We made a
loss in the end.
What did they do for us ?
They destroyed us.
