Infact same thing happened to me that no verification took place when applied to add my spouse name in PP. And I again sent my PP on 29th of june 09 for PCC purpose, I came to know that verification was not done at that moment. Then verification(which had to be done earlier) took place in july & its been around one month the status is still showing"THE POLICE REPORT HAS NOT BEEN RECIEVED" I have very less time or around 3 weeks left with me for Newzealand.
Not sure when it will come from CID office to chandigarh office for PCC & my PCC will be done,

Plz help if anyone can?

Thank GOD my case has been resolved.

I had to visited the CHD PP office personally with some references & got my PP despatched from the scrap lot.

Actually when my verification report was sent from local SP office to CHD PP office, the wrong PCC file no. was put by mistake or don't know why. And the PP office employees threw it in the miscellaneous lot because some unmatched info which ultimately would have been gone in to scrap after an year or so.

They don't even bother to take responsibility of their work. Its our need not their.They are totally lazy & careless.

Would like to suggest you all to visit personally if your case has not been resolved because they people are not going to touch that scrap lot & will ultimately send it in to burning logs.

If you want any help or assistance from my side plz feel free to contact me.

My "Work Permit" for Dammam (K.S.A) has got approved, to get my Visa stamped, I need PCC from Passport Office.

I went to Chandigarh personally on 15th March' 2010 and submitted request for PCC along with fee Rs. 300 and my original passport.
The person sitting on the counter informed me that, since I go t my passport reissued in Tatkal scheme, I have to get Police Verification Not done before PCC can be issued.
I need PCC urgently because within one month of my Work Permit approval I have to submit PCC.
I went to local Police Station and SP office, they informed me that, there was no Police Verification received from chandigarh yet.
Need your KIND and URGENT help in this matter, so that, I can get my PCC in time and I can travel ASAP.

I applied for my passport in February 2008. In the month of June I check my status on passport wesite. Where I read that because of some reason my passport was not despatched and it will reach to me within a week. I read this message also in July month. In july month i received a letter from passport office and in letter they are telling me that as per this office records you had applied for and/or obtained passport earlier explain why you did not disclose this fact in your present passport application and furnish details of the application and the passport obtained. Also surrender the old passport immediately.

I send an email to the passport office that I never ever applied for any passport. In my life First time I have applied for my passport. And if you have any misunderstanding so please give me appointment to meet you.

I send e-mail them two or three times. But i never get any reply.

I went to Canada on study permit. Before coming to India I got my passpot reissued from Consulate General of India Toronto in Tatkal for one year. Now when my passport was about to expire I applied for its extension at regional passpot office chandigarh on 29th February, 2008. My file number is : R005805.
On my passport there is a stamp stating that "The validity of the passport should not be extended further without clearance from this mission" and the mission is Consulate General of India Toronto. Its been more than 6 months that i havent heard anything from regional passport office chandigarh. I went there several times but the officials there say that they cannot extend the passport till they get the clearance from Toronto. When i contacted Toronto Office they said they have already sent the clearance and they will send again just for my sake as i complained. So, i enquired again at chandigarh office they said they havent received anything. Now i have received papers for my immigration Canada and i have to undergo medical. Without my passport I cannot go for medical and they have asked to submit my passpot right after my medical. Can you please help with the situation as I have to undergo medical within 60 days otherwise my immigration case will be cancelled. My passport Number is : F8502070.

I applied for my son's passport on 11/12/2007 and police verification done by 20/12/2007. Since that time, online status for his passport is expected to be dispatched on 19/02/2008. Important thing even this status has been updated as on 22/02/2008.
What a interesting and un-imagable thing is this: "Status updated on 22 FEb. but still not giving the clear picture of 19Feb. "
Which straight means, peoples are not doing their job proerly, either status is wrong or status update date is wrong just to show public that they are working.

With due respect I beg to say that I applied for passport at Chandigarh office ( File No. C-002940 Dated 19 May 2000) But before police verification I shifted to Mumbai for Jobs at my relative. So Chandigarh office sent the case file to Munbai passport office . Unfortunately when the police verification came to my Mubai residence I was leave the Mumbai to Chandigarh again. Before coming to Chandigarh I went to Mumbai Passport and Mumbai Police Station (Agni Pada Police Sation) to cancel the verification due to I am going back to Chandigarh. Agni Pada Police gave me Case File No. A-003061/01 . After some time I went to Chandigarh passport office and request to issue my passport. But they asking me a no objection certificate that you have not issued passport to Mumbai office.

After this I not approching / effect for passort.

Recently I went the Chandigarh passport office Dated 7 March and check my status of passport. Than they said that your file is clossed on 7 Jan. 2003 . You can apply fresh application for passport.
Now Sir I want to apply my passport. Kindly guide and give me details information to make my passport.

I've applied for passport on March 2007 from Kurukshetra, Hariyana.

The passport came to my college National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra on July, 2007 but as that time I was passed out from college and I was unavailable in college it was returned back to Chandigarh Passport Office.

In June, 2008, I went to Chandigarh passport office to collect the same with the original cash receipts.
