Paytm — Money deducted but phone number never recharged | |||||
I thought Paytm was really "seal of trust and they cared" until May 13th 2016! I recharged my phone with amount of Rs.250(fortunately not a huge amount!) and my Paytm order(No [protected]) summery said that the recahrge was successful.Money got deducted from my bank account but my phone was never recharged! I waited for "5-7 Business days"(as they say) to either get my recharge or get the refund, but neither of it happened. And then the chasing saga began! I drop an email(the only way they would like to talk to you since there is no toll free number of theirs!They said on of the numbers was toll free but it costed me ISD rates!) to paytm, they blamed my phone operator. When I called up my phone operator, they blamed my bank service and when I chased up my bank service, they blamed Paytm! Paytm was kind enough to reply to my initial mails but then they really got busy and couldn't afford wasting time on me(and god knows how many others!) and stopped replying to my mails. I don't know whose mistake is it, but if the recharge is done from Paytm, I will approach ONLY Paytm for my solution.I can't keep chasing phone operator, bank service, vegetable seller, traffic police, college principle etc to know where is my money gone. I don't have hopes of getting my money back but just wanna see for the one last time if Paytm really cares! PS:Am never going to use Paytm ever again.I know Paytm would not care for loosing single customer like me!hah! Was this information helpful? | |||||
