[Resolved]  Poorvika Mobiles — Insurance Fraud

Dear friends, while some of you have complained about the poor service etc., their new offering called Insurance (Poorvika Protect) is all but a Fraudulent attempt to extort money for nothing and protects only Poorvika not their customers ! I bought a Samsung Tab 4 T231 for INR 15700/- in Mar 2015 at Ayanavaram Poorvika, and was advised an All Encompassing Insurance for INR 1000/- that would cover until Mar 2016. This was supposed to cover THEFT and ALL DAMAGES. Now, this device was getting constantly heated up and the due to that the front display broke in Sep 2015. When I gave it to Poorvika for replacing through my insurance, they said I should pay INR 8900/-. Now why on earth would I pay this amount after having taken an insurance ? I would want to move the court for POORVIKA fooling customers and extorting money for an insurance policy that wont work ! The customer complaint number with Poorvika is 36156. Will the authorities in charge or the Proprietor of Poorvika look into this and replace or repair my device without any charge ? Vijay Anand [protected].
