Regarding Insurance Claim - Proovika Mobile
Dear Sir/Madam

To the Concerned Authorities, I would like to address the Grievance regarding the Purchase of my Karbonn Mobile – Opium N9 Model
Name: N.Selvaraj.
IMEI: [protected]/6332.
Invoice date: 19/07/15.

Issue Recap :
I have purchased Karbonn Opium N9 mobile Rs.6500/- from POORVIKA MOBILES, Kanchipuram at the time of purchasing they have adviced me to take insurance coverage. Based on their advice I have taken.

After 1month my mobile fallen down accidently and its touch glass got broken. The very next day i register my incidence to Insurence poorvika they adviced to surrender mobile for insurence coverage.
I called POORVIKA Insurance customer care and they sent an person to whom I have given my mobile.

CUSTOMER CARE REPLY:

After couple of days from Poorvika customer executives called me and informed that your mobile display & touch got damaged it costs around Rs.4500/- so M/s. Karbonn decided that it comes half of the price of mobile so we have taken as a loss of mobile/dead condition, instruct /decide to replace new mobile, But unfortunately Poorvika executives told that Karbonn N9 model stopped last month so we are unable to replace new mobile. So we are giving Option we will give Rs.3653/- as a insured value on that value you need new mobile we will replace.

My Question is ?
1. One month After selling mobile model stopped means its not a customer mistake they could'nt replace even 1 mobile.
2. If replacing mobile not available means equivalent money ie., Rs.6000/- or next model has to replace but they are giving pennies of amount.

Please kindly take immediate action to resolve my problem.

Dear Bharathiraj, We would like to bring the Insurance policies for your kind reference. In the absence of warranty support customer will get some benefits through the Insurance for genuine cases instead of total loss. Here Karbon service center has given estimation for repair 4500/- which is crossing more than 60% of mobile value. Insurance company will consider this as total loss only so either you can collect your claim amount (approximately 3653/-) or can go for new mobile by paying extra amount according to model cost. First they Said one price after opening the box they increased 1000 Rs, and they said for buying a smart phone we I'll give a valuable gift worth 500 Rs fast track coolers, and after buying he said now no stock of valuable gift worth 500 oly normal gift available . I said I am okay with that give that itself they said no no we are not happie to give that come next week I'll give sure, I am keep on going for 1 month no use they keep on compromising me .       I bought Celkon 500 (6200 Rs) from poorvika anna nagar and paid for insurance too...in six months there was display problem in the mobile.So i thought of calling for customer service..they said about their free pick up service blah blah blah..and assured that they will return my mobile within 25 days...There starts the drama...they made me call and run behind them for one and half months...and later informed me that the problem cannot be resolved.. ( Display Problem )..which a local service station can do for less than 500 Rs... I was asking to explain the technical difficulty in repairing...no one could answer my queries..saying silly excuses..Finally they said they are going to give me replacement mobile...I agreed..what i received was celkon a158 (4200 Rs)... I got fed up and asked for my unrepaired mobile which i didnt receive yet... Poorvika = Fraud.. dats all i can say..

      Its been 6 months still i didn't get my mobile...Whenever I call Customer service i'm getting frustrated.

      Even Online Purchase is best in delivery & Service & replacement.

      POORVIKA = FRAUD
      Customer care is not responding well!!!They are not giving any intimation about mobile, , Very worst customer care service i've ever seen, , , , Will never ever get any mobile in poorvika and will spread this worst service to everyone

        Insurance Fraud

        Dear friends, while some of you have complained about the poor service etc., their new offering called Insurance (Poorvika Protect) is all but a Fraudulent attempt to extort money for nothing and protects only Poorvika not their customers ! I bought a Samsung Tab 4 T231 for INR 15700/- in Mar 2015 at Ayanavaram Poorvika, and was advised an All Encompassing Insurance for INR 1000/- that would cover until Mar 2016. This was supposed to cover...

        Went to poorvika k. R. Puram branch to buy 2 pcs of sony xperia z2 mobile and the final price confirmed by k. R. Puram branch store manager was inr 26500 / pc and myself was negociating for another inr 500 / pc n immediately the store manager shifted all the available stock of sony xperia z2 mobile to another branch and said to me that their is no stock and even after repeated request from me to pay the final price of 26500 / pc the store manager didn't agree to make the bill and myself felt very sad and went in search of the same mobile and landed in another poorvika phenix mall branch and upon asking for the same mobile for 2 pcs, phenix mall store manager was not having the stock so he called k. R. Puram branch store manager for any stock, but the wicked store manager of k. R. Puram first checked about identity and said not to sell less than 28000 / pc because myself was desperate for the sony xperia z2 model. After listening to this myself simply walked out of the store and after 2 hrs of roaming finally found my sony xperia z2 for inr 25752 / pc, hope some one seriously interfer into this issue or else poorvika will loose its customer base across cities, but here after myself will never enter into any of poorvika stores

          Dear Sir, I bought a Mobile form Poorvika (Pammal Branch) on 13/12/2014 MOdel - Samsung Core Prime which was Rs.9, 800/- with Full Insurance Pack (Poorvika Protect) worth Rs.460/- (Which Covers all damages including Water and accidental damages). On June 14th i finished my night shift and came from office to home one guy rashly drive a bike from wrong side and but a sudden brake unfortunately me and my bike fell down in road . On that day some rain also came so my mobile fell down in to water (Rain Water) after that my mobile was completely water lock. I came to Poorvika (Pammal Branch) and ask about this issue, they said give your mobile we will resolve this issue without any fees. after 20 days i called them and ask about my mobile status they said my mobile was completely lock it was difficult to repair . Suddenly i wrote a letter to insurance company regarding this to claiming process. Now August 12.08.2015 they (Poorvika) kept pending my request letter and my mobile.             I bought one Micromax Nitro 2 model no. E 311 through their outlet in perambur close to railway station. They charged me close to Rs. 11000 where as the same set was selling at Rs. 9500 in other show rooms. They gave a battery charger with it and told me that it is complementary and is not included in the bill. Why should the end customer buy a mobile at a higher price with an accessory that is not required by him. Poorvika Mobiles should be blacklisted for their policy and they should be booked for outreach.

              I purchased a phone is poorvika store and they made me to wait for 3 hrs. They first took the money and then they started to tell that process will not get approved and they need so and so document. Finally when everything was settled then the agent told he has to go to another store to get the model i wanted..again waited for 1 hr... The Bajaj finance person in the store was horrible...Their intensity is to make a sale..They did not even have the courtesy to give me a cup of water since i waited for 3 hrs...But the sales person went to have lunch when i was waiting. Expecting at least an apology form their side... The store is in Peravallur Chennai...

                i bought at Samsung mobile at your store on 20th July and Ezhilarasi provided two SIMS card free along with it and i provided my photos on 21st morning but both the nos did not get activated. On 22nd the Idea SIMS was activated and Vodafone SIM is still not activated till date. I had given her Rs 100 for recharging both the numbers. I called today morning and she requested me to switch off the mob and on, but nothing happened. I had called your office from 10.10 am to 12 noon, but no boday attended the call. I got a person on line at noon and spoke to Ezhilarasi. I called around 3.45 for her and my call was kept on hold for 15 mins and no one attended by call. I tired calling the mob nos which was provided just dial [protected] and said that my call is still on hold and requested to attend. It is a pathetic service at your Showroom, I will personally inform my friends not to go to your showroom in future. I my self had purchased more that 8 mobs at this outlet but now i will never step inside your lousy showroom again I need some one to take action on the staff Jacky [protected]

                  File no: 5626 Name : manikandan i have given my mobile for back case service to poorvika mobile on june 9th 2015. Its been more than 40 days i didnt receive my mobile yet. They said like maximum 15 days they will return my mobile. Also on july 2nd week i asked them they blabbered some nonsense reasons like they didnt get the spare parts for the mobile and they said like you havent attached documents but i did. Also the call isnt getting connected. I am in a very much depressed condition. So kindly take severe action on them for their unproper response. They were saying like your mobile will be delivering by today or tomorrow for more than 3-4 days for that i was waiting at my home like the mobile will be coming, with all my work pending till today, will you replace it? Because of them for me 500000 order has got cancelled. So they have to replace me that amount.

                      I bought a tata photon max wifi data card (Ph.no: [protected]) from Poorvika, Gandhiji Road, Erode on 29.06.15. After facing activation issues for 4-5 days, tata photon engineer told me that the issue is with poorvika and not them. I returned the device to the poorvika branch on 08/07/15.                       Dear Sir, I got HTC Desire 516 (White) mobile on 21.10.2014 Poorvika mobiles Pvt Ltd, New No188, 7th street extension, Opp Gokulam Towers, Gandhipuram, Coimbatore- 641012. In this mobile I have got software problem many times(More then Four Times). and rectify HTC service Center. Recently (08.06.2015) HTC mobile again software problem, then I gave mobile in HTC service center more then One Month. At present I have lot of problem for insufficient mobile phone and without any response in service center. So, I need a New mobile at earliest as possible otherwise then I will go to Consumer Court.                           I purchased a mobile last year on[protected]. By the month of December, my mobile had some charging issues, i gave it for servicing in PMW care. I have got it back only by february of 2015. The service issue was not done immediately. When i got it back and still it had the same issue, i gave it for service on 16/02/2015. I am behind the service store department for more than 4 months for the service issue and they gave me some refurbished mobile which was looking horrible and they told me my mobile is gone completely and they gave some 5 years old phone. I was pissed off by the service issue handling method of your company people. Issue is being, i am calling the service team continuously for 3 months and i have been terribly upset for still not replacing the mobile. I have been behind poorvika for 6months to get my mobile back and whenever am calling they postponed the date 5 - 10 days. I want a proper response for the issue and would like to sort my issue ASAP. Watever we complaint, there is no proper response for the customer. I have decided not ever to buy a mobile from Poorvika. Will strongly not recommend my friends as well. People, the service team is such a horrible thing to handle.

                            My HTC 826 mobile was sent for repair to your Poorvika Head Quarters, Chennai on April 30, 2015. Are you concerned about the what is the date today?? Its almost 2 months and it is also your responsibility to get my phone back from HTC service center, Bangalore. Moreover, Phone is insured through your useless mobile protection plan. Everyday, im calling your customer service and ill get a lame excuse as a response and im redirected to call HTC service center to get the status. Kindly, get my phone back and i don't need your service anymore. If i dont get my phone within this week, it will be better i take this to consumer court. My phone IMEI: [protected]

                              This is a complaint for the selfie stick i bought from Poorvika Mobiles Private Limited, Branch Madiwala, Door No: 3/4, Maruti Tower, Hosur Main Road, Madiwala, Bangalore 560068. Phone:[protected], [protected] Tin No./ CST No. [protected], date : 06/12/2013, CIN : u52100TN2009PTC070845, Invoice Number SI/BMAD/1706 Invoice Date 18/05/2015 salesperson 5958 - Dhanasekaran R Amount paid rs. 1200 I bought it from store instead of online shopping for the sole reason of warranty/Guarantee. And I confirm the same to store also about the warranty. They said six month warranty. Same was available online at almost half price online but no warranty. I brought this selfie stick home and tried to charge and the connector was faulty and it went inside .i.e its soldering came out. The other day I went to showroom to replace the stick. They said it is physical damage and cannot be replaced or repaired. The selfie is new and didnt fall down for physical damage. Also I didnt do anything which will cause the damage still they were not listening and constantly saying the same thing again and again about physical damage. After raising voice and calling to their complaint department they agreed of the repair. I tried 9-10 times calling about the status of repairing. First few occasion they said they are looking into market for the connector. Now they are saying the connector is not available. I saw when they opened that selfie stick there were only soldering came out and connector was damaged and nothing else was damaged the board was all good. Now this connector is commonly found flat pin nowadays found in almost all the android mobiles and has to be commonly found. This store is fraud and i advice not to buy any product from this store to all the people in this forum.                                 I have given my mobile (micromax a093) for service one month back for a service in warranty for an issue. they said they will give back it in 10 days. on the 11th day i asked them about the mobile they said it is back from service. so i went next day to poorvika mobiles(madipakkam) but they said me that no your mobile is still in service and sorry for the wrong info. from the next day i used to ring them daily but no response. on the 17th day i got my mobile. went home charged it and started using it. again the same problem persists. they have just wiped ma mobile and gave it back. service has not been done. i then spoke with poorvika cust care. they connected the call to the manager of PMW care. he said for sure i will give it back with the issue solved and asked me to hand over my mobile back to service then asked him to call him. from the next day the service center number is either switched off or busy. if i call poorvika cust care they are also shouting to me and not at all tranferring the call to their manager. even the madipakkam poorvika guys daily says me that they will call me but i have to call them yet they say call me tommorow. past three days PMW cust care number is switched off or busy. the manager of madipakkam poorvika is BALAMURALI. the cust care executive who spoke with me is ANITHA and VIDHYA. i am mentally injured by this issue.. i dont know still how many years it is gonna take for them to say what is the status of my mobile. they say me that if you want t complaint to micromax camplaint. do you need the number? and also where ever you want to complaint go and complaint. i dont know what to do with these guys... they are cheating the customers.

                                  My Phone's Touch (ZTE grand X quad lite) has got scratch marks and in order to change it I bought a new touch online. The phone condition is completely functioning perfect except the scratch marks which are seen visible. I called poorvika Avadi which is near by my place and the guy named Karthik said yes we will fix the new touch which I bought for my phone.. The guy Karthik collected phone and touch from me and gave to Kadhar who seemed like a fresher for this job is going to fix it..He took nearly two hours and at the end they gave the phone back which is fully pasted with gums on the sides of my phone.. And when I asked the same he said it has to be pasted and left for sometime to get it fixed and said, later the gum particles will leave off, the mobile will look fine.. I believed his words . Also bought and fixed scratch guard..When checked my mobile internally all my phone stored contacts have gone..This guy (Khadhar) response is poor .The contacts are more important for my business which is lost now and his response was saying as, ' I have no idea' which is literally unacceptable.. The next thing is more crucial... After returning home one side of my phone is completely flipped up leaving a big gap where I could see the internal light coming from the board.The paste work which he did to make-up the broken part of the device didn't work.. Then I took the phone back to the store and the guy Karthik now says, the phone has heavy damage and it has a internal bend in it which is not letting the new touch to get fixed. This answer is ridiculous. I am sure enough the mobile has only minor scratches on my tough. If your guys aren't trained enough to do the repair service, shouldn't have get committed. Shouldn't be playing with customer mobile as a practical work .Now who is the loser..Now my phone has a big hole on its side though it is functioning temporarily.Most important thing is my contacts are lost... Now I need your reply for it. Or else have to use support in social media against poorvika... Thanks

                                    Hi NCH, This is zubair here.. i had purchased a mobile from poorvika with which i also purchased an insurance from poorvika as they insisted to get one as it will be useful if the mobile gets damage or for service. for which they charged me 1000/- & said if my mobile gets damaged they will service it without any cost, on 05/01/2015 for no reason my mobile screen cracked when i was carrying the mobile in my pocket, i informed the poorvika cust care & they collectedmy mobile for service on 04/05/2015, the person informed me that it will take 15-25 days for the mobile to be services also they asked me to pay 1140/-, which i paid, after 25 days i have been following up with them almost every day.. everytime they disconnect the call once or twice before they transfer the call to the manager. its been 45 days till today and i have still not received my mobile, when i contacted poorvika, they suggested me to call HTC Service center at banglore, i called them, they said the mobile was alredy ready & was sent to chennai service center on 09/06/2015 & gave me a FedEX tracking#[protected] which clearly stats the mobile was reached chennai on 09/06/2015, i called poorvika again with the tracking#, However they are not excepting that the mobile reached on 09/06/2015 & telling all the lies possible on the call... i had to call them soo many time. wasting my balance & time, I have under gone a lot of mental agony for this, My IMEI# [protected], i have spoken to many manager there n every time they give out false promises that i will get the mobile by tomorrow & they tomorrow never comes. this is the worst service i have ever received.. i have filed a consumer complaint n will take a strict action on this company.
