Reliance Digital — defective product, need new | |||
I bought a motorola g6 phone from reliance store at gip mall, sector 18, noida on 16th july 2018. The phone hanged as the sales representative was showing it to me. But he convinced me to take the phone as he believed it might go away after some s/w update, and because that was the last piece available with them at that moment. However the phone did not ask for any s/w update and kept hanging, and restarting randomly for next few days. On contacting customer support, i was advised to follow some step to confirm the problem, which i did, and the problem persisted. I submitted the phone in store on 21st july 2018, which was taken to the motorola workshop by one of your sales representatives (He helped me get the phone to workshop. Thanks to him.). I was assured, if there is a problem, it will be replaced with a new set. Today (23rd july 2018), i have been informed that the firmware of the phone has been updated and i should take the phone back. My point is, i have paid for a new phone, and i am expecting to get a new one. I will not be satisfied with a phone in which problems have already been noticed. I have bought numerous products from reliance and i do believe the company does want to sell us products with problems. Requesting you to understand my concern and provide me a new phone without any issues.
