Reliance Digital — Rd won't replace/return manufacturer defective product | |||||
This is adnan taher. I purchased an lg ac from hyderabad, malakpet branch on 13th march 2016. Please find all the details in the attachments and invoices. After the purchase of the ac, a team from reliance digital came and installed the ac within 2 days. But, ever since they installed, there is a lot of noise for an ac purchased at a price of 39, 500. So, i called customer service on 16th march and initiated the conversation that the ac has issues and i need a return. They informed me that, if the ac has manufacturer defect, a credit note will be issued of the same price. So, they told, they will sending a team from lg and they will finalize what's the issue and let them know. After that, almost every alternate day, lg technical executives used to come and try to rectify the problem. At one point, 3 lg executives came and dis-assembled the complete ac to rectify the problem. But, they could not find it out. In the end, lg team decided that the complete coil/unit has to be changed, because the unit has the manufacturer defect. I have attached pictures My reaction: i told them, please send a report to reliance digital as it is a manufacturer defect and i'll get a replacement. At this point, i became a regular caller to reliance digital. I have spoken to rohini and many other call center execs. But, everyone used to be like, "sir, we cannot help you, the reliance service center should establish a communication between lg and find out". I asked why there's a huge disconnect between reliance digital and lg service center, and provided them the phone numbers of lg people who visited. They still did not contact them and responded in the same way, that we are not allowing lg to install the unit. Nobody seems to do their job here. The whole point is, if the unit is broken, why should we repair it? We will instead replace it as per the reliance digital's policy. I never expected such pathetic service from a respected name like reliance digital. They have huge communication gap between customers/lg service center and their own teams. I don't understand, why lg and reliance digital are harassing the customers. I will be providing all the numbers in this post. I request he authorities to rectify this issue asap. Thanks.
