I am writing to lodge a complaint against Sahara Q Shop Unique Products Range Limited, Lucknow, for not returning my matured amount and committing fraud by stealing my original documents and forcing me to reinvest in a new scheme.
I had deposited an amount of Rs. 10, 000 on 27/08/2012 in Sahara Q Shop under the authorized center Ganeshguri sector 1386 and receipt no. [protected]. According to the terms and conditions, I was supposed to get back my principal amount along with the accrued interest after the maturity period.
However, when I approached the branch office in 2019 to claim my money, I was told that there was no money available to pay the depositors and that I had to reinvest my final amount in a new scheme called Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited. I was coerced by a branch employee to sign some papers and hand over my original documents. He assured me that I would get a higher return in the new scheme and that it was safe and secure.
Later, I discovered that he had stolen my original documents and replaced them with a printed hardcopy that showed only Rs. 10, 000 as my investment amount. In reality, I had more than Rs. 23, 000 approx. with the interest I had earned over time till 2019. I also found out that the new scheme was not approved by any regulatory authority and that it was a scam.
I feel cheated and betrayed by Sahara Q Shop and its agents. They have violated my trust and rights as a consumer. They have also caused me mental agony and financial loss.
I request you to take strict action against Sahara Q Shop and its agents for their unethical and illegal practices. I demand that they refund my matured amount of Rs. 23, 000 approx. along with interest and compensation for the harassment and inconvenience caused to me. I also want them to return my original documents or provide me with a valid proof of investment.
I have attached the copies of my printed hardcopy, receipt, identity proof and address proof for your reference.
Additionally, I would like to inform you that the Rs. 10, 000 that was invested in Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited was sent to “mocrefund.crcs.gov.in” for refund successfully. This is the only amount that I could recover from the fraudulent scheme.
Please look into this matter urgently and resolve it at the earliest.
