Sansui India — sansui ac e6 error, disappointing customer care service
I am a customer of sansui ac, i contacted the cutomer care on 02/03/2018 for the "e6 error" that was displayed on the screen.
The customer care sent me a service person from "thendral engineering". The guy examined the ac and said that "pcb is the problem and has to be replaced and he called his office with my ac model no and said it would cost rs 2800/- and asked me pay rs1000/- advance, which i paid and he gave me a bill.
In the bill i found that terms & condition mentioning that defective parts should be retained by customer. When i questioned about this he said he would try to repair the pcb, and if it is repaired the charges would come down. He said he would come on 05/03/2018, but didn't turn up, on 07/03/2018, i got a call from thendral engineering stating that they will repair pcb and would now cost rs 2800/- and for replacement it would cost nearly rs 5000/-
I asked them to return the pcb in the same old condition and would complaint to customer service, they said that they are the head office and i can complaint with anyone.
My ac is two years old and warranty has expired but i still called authorised service centre for better service, but being cheated i feel disappointed.
