Hello friends, i came to know this offer via a promotional mail. i noticed the payment entering option is not there. so instead of paying in my regular credit card, i paid in my virtual credit card which haves only 50 as balance. after trying the transaction, i got denied message from bank saying, " transaction declined for rs.1730, becuase avaialable credit limit is 50." so we can have safe move.i noticed many friends complained that they were cheated, but if they would have tried in this way. it has been safe move. ALWAYS use virtual credit cards for phishy websites for safe play. virtual credit cards has been provided by all private banks in their netbanking page. i use AXIS and ICICI virtual credit cards. what he is saying exactly correct
The Banks should never allow transactions without authentication. How the banks allow this? Its shame on security gateways and process following by banks.

One more thing I would like to inform that on the same that on 28th August 2014 when the amount was debited I understand that I had been cheated. With in 10-15mins I immediately called up the HDFC BANK Credit Card Department a booked a complaint against savethe deals.in & told them to not to pay to the Merchant Even I also submitted the Customer Complain Form my Complaint Number is [protected] but despite of this the Bank made the payment on 3rd August 2014. I am very much dissatisfied with the HDFC Bank Credit Card Division that they do not hear to the customer & did whatever they want & now they are asking for the payment. I request the Bank to waive of this amount from my statement because I have given them the clear instruction before they made the payment & so now I have no liability for the same. Thanks & regards Subodh Shaymsukha Kolkata (M)+91-[protected].

I request to the Cyber authority of India to take this site down and save some dumb internet users from getting befooled by sites like these. Thank you

The card data might have been compromised which has to be investigated. The disputed transactions are net transactions and the merchants are located abroad. For online transactions where the merchants are located abroad, 3D secure password/OTP is not mandatory. In such cases the Card No., Card Expiry details and CVV is sufficient to perform an online transactions. Since physical card is not required to do an online transaction, the above said details are sufficient to do an online transaction as such the card details might have been compromised at merchant establishments or the customer might be a prey to Phishing mails.

1.Please enter the claim through ATM claims module and provide us the claim id number on receiving the message as “Claim Successfully Registered”.

After that we will be reporting fraud to VISA and raise a claim on the Merchant Acquirer Bank . As per VISA/MASTERCARD terms 45 days time frame is available for the Merchant Acquirer bank to respond.

***If the Merchant Acquirer Bank accepts our chargeback before the due date proactively, the amount will be credited within 2 days from the date of acceptance

***Else If the claim is rejected we shall provide the proof of txn submitted by the Merchant acquirer bank and the same may be handed over to the customer for taking further course of action and

***If the Merchant acquirer Bank does not respond for 45 days then on 46th day we shall credit the amount.

                              2. Please inform customer to register the mobile no at the branch so that whenever there is fraudulent txn, the customer will receive SMS and can immediately block the card. Please cancel this card and issue new card as the card has been once compromised .

                              3. Please note to inform customers to register the mobile no at the branch. The Branch has to feed the mobile no correctly in the mobile no field only correctly.

                              Hi neelshah,
I too received one such mail, however, instead of blindly following it, I spent 15-20 minutes to read the terms and conditions. And guess what my friend, it appears that you really authorized them to deduct the money. But what next?
You need to scan the receipt that they have sent to you (I guess you can simply print the pdf of the mail using your Google Chrome browser) and then email it to [protected]@savethedeal.in Then, according to their terms mentioned on the website, they would be liable to return your money. If that doesn't work out, then you have a serious case against them.
I hope this helps you. Please do post back regarding your case and keep the readers updated (sharing is caring :) ).

After registration, it straight away asks for payment details. Assumi its Rs 50, I entered the card details. But unlike other website, this one does not show how much its going to deduct and neither did it ask for OTP or PIN. Transactions without OTP or PIN are fraudulent. After the card details was put in, it straight away debited Rs 1730 from my account. There is no phone number to reach them either. Please help me get refund. I do not want any paid membership on this...PLEASE RETURN THE AMOUNT TO OUR CREDIT CARD

P.S. - I too agree with you that payments done without OTP / PIN are fraudulent in nature. Good for you that the amount is low, next time do not pay to a website that doesn't show you the payment amount.

I received an ad on my pc for 6 movie tickets for Rs 50. I followed the links and save the deals website asked me to register. I do not want any paid membership on this fraud website.

I received an email for fuel of Rs. 1700/- for Rs 50. I followed the links and save the deals website asked me to register. After registration, it straight away asks for payment details. Assuming its Rs 50, I entered the card details. But unlike other website, this one does not show how much its going to deduct and neither did it ask for OTP. Transactions without OTP are fraudulent. After the card details was put in, it straight away debited Rs 1730 from my account. There is no phone number to reach them either. So I have lodged complaint on their site but till not get any respond. Today I unsubscribe the same. Please help me get refund. I do not want any paid membership on this fraud website. It was informed that they will take Rs. 50 and after 72 hours they will charge Rs.1680 for every 30 days. Since i gave the card details, i am afraid whether they will take the amount after 72 hours without my knowledge. They only put what they will do in FAQ questions and no options for us to get back our money... Please help me get refund. I do not want any paid membership on this fraud website. Kindly any one help us with come out of it and get back our amount. Joy Sarkar ([protected]), [protected]@gmail.com
