SBI Credit Card — adding charges and asking to pay | |
I had one credit card from sbi which i lost and subsequently i hotlist. The new credit card was supposed to reach me but in 2 months waiting it didn’t reach to me.in the meantime from the credit card company i started receiving calls in very bad language that i need to pay. It had the outstanding of about rs 5000 only and i occasionally use the card. I firmly requested them to send me a new card or old card number so that i can pay. They did nothing and giving me harassment calls. I simply asked how do i pay then if you don’t give me the number of the lost card or a new card? I emailed 100 times to the customer service but they didn’t give me the full number saying they cannot give credit card number over phone. Then i had to left india for few months but frequently i emailed them regarding the situation. Suddenly i discovered after 4 months they have added huge charges almost 3 times the outstanding and reported the cibil also without even intimating me. I immediately sent email to the customer care to reverse the charges and give me a way to pay. The refused to do anything but again adding charges.in very cavalier fashion they take time of 10 days to reply and most of the times they even don’t. I got a delayed credit card payment for my citibank and they are so professional despite a huge amount. They reversed all the charges. But sbi credit card has neither any intention to help or to resolve the problem. They can only harass. Was this information helpful? | |
