SBI — Non compliance of my request | |||
i have savings account number [protected] at SBI, Baruipur branch (001490) which is linked with a BSNL LANDLINE bill payment through ECS.I applied to stop this ECS from my account with immediate effect on 26.11.2014 enclosing with the RBI rulings regarding ECS discontinuation at customer's wish. my branch failed to deactivate this service and asked me to provide 7 digit beneficiary code of BSNL for ECS transaction at SBI in KOLKATA.I also provided that code with great difficulty and they informed me over phone that ECS had been stopped.but to my utter surprize at the end of jan 2015 there was regular ECS debit crom my account.On asking about the fact they said they had no clue about it and said they need further tech assisstance from SBI HELP DESK.thus for 3 consecutive months even after my application there was more than RS 2500/- debited my account.
