My name is Akshit Dilta and is working in an IT company "Unisys" in Hyderabad .
On Wed, Mar 28, 2018 at 10:10 AM, I received an email from :
Email :- HR2.[protected]@outlook.com
Add :- 310, Asian plaza, 2st floor, Nehru Place, New Delhi
regarding a job opening for
Indigo Airlines at Location Chandigarh profile Ground staff in Chandigarh International Airport in basis of eligibility.
I applied for jobs on websites so thought that it was genuine and confirmed with them as well . After this I received a call from a lady named Kajal with contact information[protected] who mentioned me the entire process and told me to pay Rs 2000 for registration . I observed that something is fishy and then she kept convincing me and gained my confidence by saying that the job opening is completely genuine . I initiated the process as I was in need of the job desperately .
After this, an online test was scheduled for me with this link " http://www.indiabix.com/online-test/aptitude-test/1 ".
I completed the test and provided the screenshot on their email ID with my test score as they told me to do so .
I was called again by Kajal on the same day mentioning that you have been selected and we provide 100 percent assurance that you will get the job.
She then told me to pay Rs 7, 500 and wrote down the below email to me :
Greetings from indigo airlince!
As per discussion had with you over the call, we would like to inform you that the security deposit of INR 7500/- is required for the your indigo prm & verification.
Further, we would like to inform you that this deposit will be safe in our bucket and it will be fully refunded with your first month Salary.

Thanks and Regards,
Career Placement
So for this as well I asked her that no company will ask for money . She transferred my call to her senior and she provided me the information that my technical interview will be scheduled on Thursday at 4.30 PM .
I called them at 4.30 PM on Thursday and mentioning about the interview . She transferred my call to the interview who quoted himself as a person from Indigo airlines .He took my interview and next day in morning I was told that I am selected and was asked to pay another Rs 12, 500 for medical and HR meeting that will be scheduled Sunday . She again convinced me over a call for all this .
I was so badly stuck . I paid 12.5K again to them .
On Saturday, that lady mentioned that she will provide me information regarding the interview and also I was provided the offer letter from them .
Since then, they have not been picking up my calls and it was too late for me to realize that it is a scan, a fraud .
I have debited almost Rs 22, 000 in total to them .
I have all their emails and transaction details which I am attaching with this .
Please, it is my request that you bring your attention to this and help me in this situation .
More than that, these frauds should be sent behind bars as they may have fooled a lot of people like for whom having a job is so much of priority .
I am in complete shock and in a very bad mental condition right now .
Please help !
Thanks and regards,
Akshit Dilta

Raviswaroop's response Dear sir I am receiving unwanted messages shine jobs related on my mobile number so please help me stop the all messages shine and related partner
He had put up his profile in several other job portals for over a month with no scam calls. One day after he uploaded his information in Shine.com : One Stop Destination To Find Your Dream Job on the Go, he received no less than 10 calls.
The MO is rather similar in all the calls received.
You’re asked to confirm your qualification, years of experience, preferred location and domain.
You’re assured immediately that there are close to a hundred job openings suiting your profile.
There’s a snag though, the likelihood of your landing the job is increased with their service of providing internal references in the organisations that have opening, which is all great but you need to pay a token amount of Rs. 3500 to register for these services.
When asked where they found his contact information & profile, the callers declined to provide that detail, whereas some of them claimed to work for Shine.com : One Stop Destination To Find Your Dream Job on the Go.
When the caller is quizzed more on his/her professional email id, or specifics of which organisations have openings, you’re asked to confirm whether you’re willing to register and pay the requisite Rs. 3500.
If your answer is not a “Yes”, but a volley of more questions which a genuine headhunter will have no problems answering, they hang up the call.
While these fraudulent schemes exist everywhere, just the overwhelming number of calls received in a single day all claiming to provide the same service raises a lot of questions and reflects badly on Shine.com.
