    Hi Team,

    I'm working with Shine.com(Hindustan times) till 31st July. The shine.com company of the Noida branch deducted the salary for the month of April, May, and June month Employee Name-Deeraj Ojha(TL) and Vijay Tyagi. (Assistant Manager). Even I worked for 30 days from morning 9:30 to 8:30. I'm taking followup with the company but no revert getting. please find the attached email. also, they block my email ID.

    As discussed over the phone, I'm the current employee of the Shine.com please find the details below

    Can I know the reason for the salary deduction from April to June month?
    Number of Present Days showing in the salary slip as below:-
    1. April - 29 Present Days - In this month no leaves taken by me so why the number of Days showing 29.
    2. May- 26 present Days - In this month only Half day leave has been taken, so why it's showing 26 Present days
    instead of 30 1/2 Days.
    3. June- 22 present Days - In this month 1 leave has been taken, so why its showing 22 present Days instead of
    29.
    I have received an email from Quess for salary deduction in the month of April for the May month salary and I'm okay
    with that also if you are deducting the incentive or some kind of amount at the pandemic time due to we are working from
    home.
    But what is the reason for the number of present days which is showing over the Salary slip?
    Also, right now I'm daily going to the office in this pandemic situation and attending the office from the month of
    June, after taking all this risk to my self and my family, my salary still deducting more than 6000/-.
    Can you please let me know the genuine reason for the deduction of salary after attending the office on a daily
    basis for the month of June, as well as please let me know is this deduction still remains for the coming months?

      I got a call from shine for Application highlighter service and I paid 2499 rs. The next day I received a series of calls saying that my profile will be improved and I was forced to pay for a series of multiple services including Education Verification Plus Package (rs 5192), Job Profile Verification Plus Package 2 and Featured Profile : 90 days (total rs 10, 146), Professional Summary and Senior Level Resume Writing Services- Cover Letter (total rs 15, 987), and then Jobs on the Move: 90 Days and Career Assessment Test with Expert Couselling (total rs 18, 500). It didn't stop there and it continued with more services being forced to purchase by the relationship manager as claimed by personal persons named Shiv pratap, and Anuj. They started abusing me and was being called again and again to purchase Master In Leadership and Strategy Management Training & Certification for rs 29, 499 to which I said I am not interested. At this point I realised I am being duped and blocked their calls. Please help me getting refund and also please make sure that their operations are closed so that more people like me are not cheated

        I would like to get a refund of rs 1.49 lac paid towards premium services of shine.com.

        The payment was made on friday, sept 11, 2020, however i have not received any mail or login credentials. Also i have not received any form for updation or job verification.

        I don't want to avail the services, so i would like a refund.

        Please find attached the screenshot of all the mails, the payment confirmations and the mails that were sent for follow up but were not replied to.

        I have not availed any services and neither do i intend to in the future.

          Hi,

          On dated 09.09.2020, i received a call from shine.com, they told me to take package of 2600 and and they will schedule interview with reputed companies and that will be valid for 6 months. So very next day i paid the amount, after that they contacted me and asking for additional 7000 to make my resume look better for recruitment.

          I denied that as it was not told to me earlier, i asked for refund of my 2600. Now they denied to pay to me saying there is no refund policy.

          Please help and against this farud company and take strict action so that they cannot do such farud to others.
          Also please check review of this company they have done this to many people

            I hope my message finds you and family in best of health. I am writing this note to you with pain and disappointment that I went through while interfacing with your team. The whole experience was in a bad taste and left me dejected.

            Part 1

            I will start from the beginning. I got a call from one of your association asking about my account on shine.com and pushing for a paid subscription. The guy pursuad me into taking up the paid subscription by promising a lot of things such a dedicated relationship manager, finding jobs on my behalf and what not. He sounded as geniune as one can be. I took the subscription after a lot of follow up by him and I thought that it was a right decision. I paid 2994 bucks for it. He told that now my relationship manager will connect with me who will help me in finding better opportunities. I was happy that my woes will wrap up fast now

            Part 2

            A relationship manager called and after a few vague questions he pitched another product and coerced me to pay another 5192 bucks, telling me that without it he will not be able to help me. Once I paid the amount and thought probably now I wil be able to get some benefits, he asked for another payment of 9438 bucks telling me that I have to co-operate else everything done till now will not yield desired results. I thought may be this is the end hence I paid however to my surprise he sent another profarma invoice of 18878 bucks pressuring me to pay and how it is going to be life changing. At this point in time I asked that I hope this is the last payment to which he responded positively and I made the payment as I wanted to get over with it. My patience gave up when he again asked for a payment of 30147 bucks to which I refused. I was trembling with the disappointment and loss that I suffered due to coercive action of your team member.

            Part 3

            Since your team member did everything with the speed of blitzkrieg, I could not notice the kind of dog-### subscription services he has charged me for and I was utterly disappointed after seeing what I have sold. All in All 36, 502 bucks for resume writing and profile highlighting plus some stupid courses which are of no use to me and some BGV.

            Part 4

            Good thing is that I record every call that comes to me and should you need to hear it yourself, I can send it across. I am of the notion that mANY TIMEs the leadership is unknown of the tactics ground teams play hence I write to you in good faith hoping that you will help me out here with the refunds as I no more have confidence on shine.com and probably will do better of my own in job search. I have not availed a single paid service hence it should not be difficult.

Once i paid the amount and thought probably now i will be able to get some benefits, he asked for another payment of 9556 bucks telling me that i have to co-operate with them and everything has to be done till now and if i am not able to pay thst much amount i will not yield desired results. I thought may be this is the end hence i paid however to my surprise he sent another proforma invoice of 10287 bucks pressuring me to pay and how it is going to be life changing. At this point in time i asked that i hope this is the last payment to which he responded positively and i made the payment as i wanted to get over with it. My patience gave up when he again asked for a payment of 17089 bucks to which i refused. I was trembling with the disappointment and loss that i suffered due to disgusting actions of your team members.

              And lastly i have mentioned that they do the things forcefully and manipulate their own sayings. They are totally frauds .I write to you in good faith hoping that you will help me out here with the refunds as i no more have confidence on shine.com and probably will do better of my own in job search. I have not availed a single paid service hence it should not be difficult.

                On quicker I have applied for part time job. This shine jobs is a fraud company. They have taken Rs. 2500 from me and They were asking Rs. 9000 for document verification. And when I said I can't afford it please return my money then they abused me and blocked me. Specially the HR of the shine jobs.

                  I am Prashanthi, resident of Hyderabad with registered mail id [protected]@gmail.com. I am looking for a job change and uploaded my resume in Shine.com. I have received a call from one of the shine executives (Akanksha - [protected]) who suggested that I opt for the paid service of Rs. 2, 949/- which is valid for 6 months, where my resume will be scrutinized and I will be getting 2 job openings daily matching my profile. I have received the calls from other job portals as well for paid services but I opted to go with shine.com believing that it is a reputed organisation which is a part of Hindustan Times Media. After paying the fee of Rs 2, 949/- I received a call from a Senior Relation Manager (Mr. Nitin - [protected]) on 18th Aug, 2020 for completing my profile and sent me a mail for the fee payment of Rs5, 192/- for verification of certificates. He insisted that the fee has to be paid immediately. I had asked him repeatedly that will there be no further fee to be paid in order to complete my profile for which he promised and confirmed that there will be no further fee to be paid.

                  On 19th Aug, 2020, I paid the verification fee of Rs. 5, 192/- and called Mr. Nitin to inform him of the same. Nitin started to ask me to pay further fee of Rs. 7, 197/- for further verification and he was trying to bluff that he has sent two payment request mails the before day.In real he has sent only one payment request mail for Rs. 5, 192/-. As we are not interested to pay the further fee we asked for the refund of the paid amount for which he replied rudely that it cannot be refunded and for the basic package they will send just 2 job openings daily and apply directly if I am interested.

                  I have clear call recordings and the receipts for my payments. My husband wants to go legally regarding this as your representatives are misleading and bluffing saying everything is informed and treating the clients with no respect when they refuse to pay the fee.

                  I have raised a complaint in the morning, it's not visible now, donno how come it's deleted, shine.com is the worst company from HT media, they themselves call reputed for looting the needy who are looking for career opportunities

                      Please find attached evidence wherein my payment has been shown deducted twice. One is 4601 and second is 7100 and more was almost about to deduct. Mr shooraj sharma who sits in gurgaon office, was requested for the payment but he did not disclose the whole package amount at once. He is a man of greedy personality and was in hurry to clinch the amount at any cost. I want my money back now otherwise i will come to office with police if my concern is not addressed by shine team.

                      If i had an idea about a whole amount of packages at once, i never would have taken steps to go forward for enrolling myself. He said first you have to make payment only 4600 and then i made payment on his consent but as soon as i made payment, he sent me another link of amount 7300 and asked for payment immediately, then i took some time to decide whether i should go forward or not but as i told you i had already done the payment so i did not have any other option and it was matter of career so i nodded and made the payment of 7300 and the same instances happened with me as he sent another link of payment of amount 12300 something (Attached) but then i completely denied because he had told me this would be last transaction but he sent mail with another add on package. I am not saying this package provided by shine.com is fake but honestly we should have been informed about whole package. I enroled just because of amount was very small but as i kept creeping in each steps, had a relapse by your team. (Mr suraj sharma). I hope all call recording system would protect me and also he has not mentioned whole packages amount in mail.

                      I am going to fir for fraudulent payment requested by you in the name of giving consultation for seeking a job. Mr sooraj sharma is the culprit and he has taken my money without making me aware for whole procedure at once. I have never thought shine company will loot my hardest to earn money.

                      I am getting depressed and i was already facing huge monetary loss due to cutting in salary and now i am completely broken.

                      I will never ever forgive you all. You will be responsible for all things if anything happens to me. Your team have left me no choice but to live happy.

                          Since I have registered in shine.com I got a call from customer care from shine to ask me to take the payment version to get your profile more visible to recruiters and make fake promises that within a 1 week you will receive calls from recruiters due to a pandemic situation I was so desperate to get a job I paid 2900 amount, afternoon I got a call from Abhishek he introduced himself as a relationship manager from Hindustan Times, he asked me to pay for other products to get better services but I insist he forced me to take it, if you don't pay the amount you will lose 2900 rupees. If you take the new packages within a week you will receive calls be assured we are a partner with shine.com. I trust Hindustan Times' credibility I paid almost 25, 000. Its been 10 days I haven't received a single call and they activate 1 service. I keep on sending emails they are postponing the issue, Litrellay I am fed up with your services I want to refund all my money. I don't need your services. If you don't refund my amount I will go legal proceedings. I have call recordings and emails Awaiting for your response.

                          I spoke to the salesteam, that I asked him refund my spot amount but he told me that the amount cannot be refund. Instead of that he will provide another service but what ever services you are providing not at all use for me till now I haven't received a single call from companies what is the use of taking another services. This is unethical way to treat the customers as you guys promised with in a week you will get calls its been 3 weeks I haven't receive a single call. Its not about money its about trust If You don't refund my money or provide what ever services you promise me I will go legally.

                              Shine.Com staff Varun Rana call me on 2 September 2020 and try to sell their Resume Highlighted plan of Rs 2500(Aporx). I say i don't want to buy now after that he behave badly and i disconnect the phone. After that he continues text me and insulting me. This is so bad. And he also told me he was delete my resume from shine.com.

                                On 30th august i got so many messages regarding air ticketing, ground staff, and cabin crew jobs in airport authority of india. one of the shine consultant called me regarding the job . Her name is Mahi sharma, contact number. [protected]. she called me and explained about the job and she said that her sr. manager will call me in 45 min. to take telephonic interview. His name is Vivek roy, contact number. [protected].he has taken the interview and said me to pay 2100 registration fee as im selected for the job. again he called me up the next day and asked me to finish the process for training and said me to pay 7900 rupees for training which is completely refundable in 24 to 72 hours. again he pressurised me to pay 13900 for the uniform which will be refundable on 24 to 72 hours . he forced me to pay these amounts in 10 to 15 min of time and said that the payment process is done. no more payments are required. next day he called me up and said to pay 20200 rupees for the offer letter which will be refunded in 24 hours . i rejected to pay the amount. now he is not refunding my amount back and forcing me to pay 20200 and he is using abusive lang. i requested him so much to refund my amount but he is not at all refunding my amount. and i called to mahi sharma . she is telling that the amount will be refunded but she is not lifting calls now. i want my total amount back. i lended from my friends to pay for the job.

                                  One of the shine.com consultant mahi sharma messaged me that my cv is selected for airport authority of india. And she told that her hr manager will came me to take a telephonic interview. His name is vivek roy. He took the interview and told me to pay 2100 for registration fee. I paid the amount and he sent sent me the pay slip i n mail. Again he told pay 7900 for training charges which will be refundable in 72 hours. I paid and he sent me the pay slip and training letter. Again he told to pay 13900 for airport uniform which is refundable in 24 to 72 hours. I paid and he sent me the pay slip. He told me that 13900 is the last payment as i lended amount for me friends. Nowhe is asking to pay 20200 for offer letter and i refused to pay. He is using ad words and he scamed the whole amount. Please help me. I want my amount back.

                                    I'm writing this complain against shine.com. On 20th august 2020 at around 5:15 pm i got a call from someone saying she is from shine.com. Her name was "ria sharma" (Not sure if this is the actual name of that person, she might be faking it).

                                    The phone number is (+91-[protected]). On truecaller it reads idea cellular ltd and location shows delhi. So the sim card must be from delhi.Â

                                    During the phone call i was promised an interview with 2 renowned companies (Maruti suzuki and honda) on the next day saying that my profile was shortlisted.Â
                                    The tricky part is this. I was asked to pay a refundable amount of rs. 1850 inr to get into the interview the following day. When i said yes, i was put on hold and somebody else from account department joined the call and gave away the following account details where i had to transfer the amount.

                                    After this i didn't receive any official receipt of payment via e-mail or message. At this point i had a doubt if this was a fake call with fake identity.Â
                                    The next day (21st august 2020) i was told that my interview was scheduled between 10 am and 2 pm. No interview happened. I was informed that the hr interviewers were late and i had to wait for 5 more minutes for my chance. This went on till 6pm that day by waiting for intervals of 5-5 mins. This raised my suspicion even more. I was frustrated.Â
                                    Then i called up the day after and enquired why my interview didn't happen. She (Ria sharma) told me that i had to wait for 10 more minutes to get my slot. This went on for like 4-5 days. Then i started calling the number again and again. Sometimes no one picked up and most of the times it was switched off.Â
                                    Once she started avoiding my calls i knew that i lost rs 1850 inr. I was damn frustrated. I was persistent on getting back my refund amount.
                                    Kept calling the same number again and again. One fine day she picked up the call and started talking to me rudely saying you have to wait for the refund process. Once initiated i would get my refund in 3-4 days time.
                                    Today morning (31st august) she calls me saying that she is ready to pay but i have to pay another rs 1850 inr again to fill the gst form. By doing this i would get back my refund withing 30 mins. Now tell me if this isn’t fake then what is. If i don’t pay the same amount again i won’t get the refund. The amount is gone.
                                    I said you can deduct 18% of gst for processing the refund form and send me the remaining amount. She denied that also saying that its the company policy. I started speaking to her aggressively from this point. She just chucked (Cut) the call when i started asking her sensible questions and asked for genuine reason. She had no proper reply whatsoever.
                                    I also demanded to speak to another person (Higher authority) since i was unhappy with the service. She rejected that too saying that i was rude.
                                    First of all she took my money by committing a service which she never provided and now she is asking for more money. What sort of non sense is this.
                                    I told her i shall report this issue to shine.com or consumer court. She didn’t care by saying, ”go ahead and complain i don’t care”. I am not sure if this kind of cases go under cyber crime but i will surely try and file a complaint there too.
                                    For all i care, i hope someone puts a full stop to this “cheating in the name of interview” that is being happening under the name of shine.com which i wasn’t aware off.
                                    Don’t know whether i’ll ever get back my refund or not but if you read about my incident am sure you’ll avoid such calls from such people in the future. Beware.
                                    They will talk nicely in the beginning promising job interview and all stuff. You will be convinced that it is an authentic company and fall prey to their motives.
                                    This is purely taking advantage of the current scenario of the pandemic where people like me are desperate to get a job. Such people take advantage of this very desperation and play with our sentiments. Please be careful. Please stay informed. Avoid such calls in the future. I made a mistake. Please don’t do the same.

                                    Desirable resolution : i request for a refund from the company. I just want my money back. The number (+91-[protected]) is still active. If any officer or customer support is reading this please catch hold of the perpetrators before many such people are conned.

                                      I got cheated from shine learning.com. This happened on the 31st of august 2020. Three-person called me from the different numbers, numbers are [protected], [protected] and [protected]. They called me from application highlighter from shine.com and asking me payment and i did so but after doing payment they ask me for more money. If i do not use these services then clearly i want my money back, i asked them to give my money back then they hang up on me.
