Hello I am Pallavi Pradhan. On 22nd April, 2023 I got call from (Simran) from Gurugram stating that she is from Shine.com company, and after asking the location and job which I wanted to do she gave me number of another man (Akhilesh Kumar) who asked me to send all the details (passport size photo, I'D proof, and latest marksheet). For registration they asked me to pay 750 rupees, which I paid. After the aptitude test on 23rd April, 2023, they conducted a telephonic interview on 24th April, 2023, which was conducted by the HR team of Cipla in Gurugram named Aarti. After passing the interview, I was asked to pay further 3990 for the verification of the earlier documents sent to Akhilesh Kumar, and was asked that in future I should contact only Aarti for any doubts regarding job. After paying the money the sent we offer letter and bank opening details. I had asked Aarti will I need to pay more money after this, she clearly said no, but after this process I was asked to pay 11, 500 rupees more for the conformation of the job, which I refuse. I was contacted my another man wherein he was trying to explain why the money is needed, and when I asked my father to talk to him, he was talking very rudely to my father, and on the top of it informed us he was not authorized for providing me job at Cipla company. So, I asked them to cancel my application and revert back my money. They said cancellation process is very long, it will take time to revert back the money. It has been 2 weeks till now, still the money is not reverted back. On the top of it Akhilesh Kumar has just blocked my number, and has not even responded to the previous messages I had sent him.
The whole time the job profile and the company name was not correct in all the letters which were sent to me. After I informed them they would make rectification of the same in the letters. Even the HR from Cipla was pronouncing the name of the company in the wrong way. Is this kind of service you provide?

May 8, 2023 Complaint marked as Resolved No step has been taken in resolving my complaint. In fact, I was surprised by how the resolution description has been given, as no communication from shine.com was initiated nor the money was revert back to my bank account.
Shine.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

See, this is not done I am constantly being contacted by the person mentioned in my complain, now that I have cancelled the application, you are telling me they are fake. You cannot just take money and say it is fake at least check the facts properly. Please provide me the email id so that I can share the details of all the documents sent by them. You take money, but when its time to return, you just say we got fake calls, please check once again and let me know as soon as possible.

May 10, 2023 Updated by pradpall Not resolved yet, not satisfied with the customer service providing solutions, my 5000 rupees lost in this case, will never trust them, nor would recommend to any friend of mine during job search. Fraud, waste of time as well as money.
