Updated by Arunmanikandan Kalirajan Pls refund the amount, I don't want to continue with services, I was never told about additional packages - education verification & job verification that are mandated for continuing with job search process when shine representative (Pallavi) called and informed me yesterday about one time registration fees 3657 INR ONLY is needed to activate services post which shine team will hunt jobs on behalf of me
Today a person named Tushar called and spoke to me for 30 mins, initially he asked me to pay 5122 INR for education verification and he has given explanation now adays no organization spends time in verifying candidate background and having these services activated for you, your resume will be top listed in job seeker search. He has introduced him as a person who gives counsel to VPs, CTOs etc., when they search for jobs .After paying the 5152 over online, he has told there is one more mail sent and check it out. I got wild to see it was the invoice for 9956 INR sent and expressed my anger that you never told me I have to 5152 initially and now you are asking me to pay additional 9956 INR.He said this is the last service you need to pay for and based on my push, he has sent me confirmation in a mail quoting I don't need to pay a single penny further .
I have paid 9956 as well, then he asked me to check another mail in my inbox, i got shocked that I am asked to pay 17K INR .He continued his story saying this is presentation package and in order to improve my resume, they are charging these services. I shouted at them and one more guy joined introducing him as Sr. manager .He said this call is been recorded(there is no prior information about it), I heard.Tushar saying you need to pay for verification & presentation when call started (which is a lie)
Finally, they threatened me you can't further continue with the services when you don't want to register for 17K INR.I asked them to kick start services for 18K INR I paid. He said they can't continue the service as per their rules unless I pay 17 K INR for presentation package. As I said I don't have money today, and I will pay tomorrow, they were bargaining me to pay via EMI .When I said no, they dropped the call saying they will assign these services to a different person .
I want my money to be refunded, I lost my confidence that I would get proper services based on what I experienced. Hence, Consumercomplaint.in, please help me to get my refund amt 18405 in total
This looks to be Scam, you will be asked very minimal money at first, later they strategize to pull additional money indicating series of services and also threatening you can't refund money.
PLS HELP TO GET REUND FROM SHINE.COM, NONE OF THE SERVICES WERE USED BY ME
