I am writing to raise a complaint against Shine.com regarding misleading and misrepresentation of services.
On 17 March 2026, I purchased multiple job assistance services from Shine.com and made a total payment of approximately ₹1, 12, 564.64 through Google Pay (UPI). Before making the payment, their representative clearly assured me that I would receive a guaranteed job opportunity and regular job calls. This assurance was the primary reason I agreed to purchase the services.
However, after receiving the invoices and reviewing the service details, I found that there is no mention of any guaranteed job or assured interview calls. The services provided are limited to profile boosting, resume writing, career counselling, and courses, which do not match what was promised to me.
When I raised this concern and requested a refund, the company denied my request stating that they have a “no refund policy.” This is unfair, as the services were sold to me based on false promises and misleading information.
I believe this is a clear case of misrepresentation and unfair trade practice.
I request the following:
1. Full refund of the amount paid (₹1, 12, 564.64 approximately)
2. Appropriate action against the company for misleading customers
I am attaching all relevant documents including payment proof, invoices, and email communication for your reference.
Kindly look into this matter and help me resolve it at the earliest.
