Shine.com is running a scam where they are hiding the charges for the services and once you pay for the service they will keep asking for more money. I have become the victim of this scam and the details of the payments made by me are below.
Initial Call;
1st Payment: 3657/-
Application Booster Package
Second Call: After making the first payment they called me and told me that after analyzing the profile I need to opt for some services and they are sending a proforma invoice where I need to make payment. They never told me that there will be multiple payments so thinking that this is the last payment I paid it.
2nd Payment: 8857/-

* After the payment was done they have sent another link and kept begging for more payment by making lot of excuses and reminding me that it was my mistake that I have misunderstood things. (What a hypcrite company). But Since I made the two payments and they told me there is no refund policy, which they intentionally hidden from me before making payments. Their representative won't even gave me time to read things and kept asking to finish the procedure of payment by pressuring me. After lot of talk to get the benefit of already paid amount I made another payment. Hence third payment was made.

After lot of calls: I have been getting lot of calls after those payment where they kept asking for more money and giving lot of excuses and promising lot of things. and after that I made another payment but before that I asked is it final. They said yes. So made the fourth payment.

Next Call: After making 4th payment they sent another mail asking for more money and kept calling for it. At this point they were just harassing me. So I decided to accept that I have been made fool. And I don't have any expectations of getting my money back.
The final payment they have asked for is INR 19000/- +GST and they clearly told me without this payment I won't be getting any benefits out of all the payments which I already made.
Outcome: They have a very well-organised system to cheat people for money. I know that I won't be getting my money back or getting any benefits but I hope there will be some action against this type of companies. Was this information helpful? |
