I am writing this complaint with a heavy heart and immense distress regarding the unethical and fraudulent practices of Shine.com. I had trusted this platform in the hope of securing a job to support my family, but instead, I was manipulated into paying a series o[censored]njustified charges, leaving me in a dire financial state.
I was initially approached by an employee from Shine.com who assured me that they would enhance my resume and profile to increase my chances of employment. They further promised that recruiter actions on my profile would be more frequent and that I could expect a 100% hike in my salary. As someone who has been desperately searching for a job, I believed their words and agreed to proceed.
The employee first asked for ₹3, 600, which I paid, believing it to be a genuine investment for my career growth. However, shortly after, I was connected to a relationship manager named Vicky Goyal, who then demanded an additional ₹6, 700, claiming it was necessary for further processing. Trusting their process, I paid this amount as well. But to my horror, as soon as the payment was completed, they asked for yet another ₹8, 500.
At this point, I realized that I was being manipulated. When I refused to pay further, they emotionally coerced me, insisting that this was just an investment and that all my troubles would be resolved once I secured a job. They even tried to justify that this amount was insignificant compared to the salary I would soon receive. Their words were laced with false promises and psychological pressure, leaving me feeling trapped and hopeless.
What makes this situation even more painful is that I am currently unemployed and struggling to provide for my family. The money I paid them was the last bit of savings I had left – money that was meant to feed my children. Now, with no job and no financial means left, I feel completely deceived and betrayed. I had placed my trust in Shine.com, only to be left in a worse state than before.
For your reference, I received communications from the following email addresses:
[protected]@shine.com
[protected]@shine.com
[protected]@shine.com
According to online reviews, Shine.com states that its official emails will only be sent from addresses formatted as [protected]@shine.com. This discrepancy raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of the communications I received. Additionally, the relationship manager, Vicky Goyal—who insisted on further payments—can be reached at +91 [protected].
I demand immediate action against Shine.com and a full refund of the money that was unjustly taken from me as soon as possible. No job seeker should have to endure such emotional and financial exploitation. I also urge the concerned authorities to take strict measures against such fraudulent activities so that others do not fall victim to these deceitful practices.
I hope for your swift intervention in this matter. Please consider the urgency of my situation and provide me with the justice I deserve.
