[Resolved]  Simplilearn — Simplilearn's Data science job guarantee program

I enrolled myself in the Simplilearn Data Science Job Guarantee program in July 2022. The course fee is “Rs. 1.68 Lacs + Interest”.

My course started from 8 august 2022 and it got finish in November 2022. Then after completing my projects and unlocking all the certificates, My CAREer service started from 26 December 2022, in this simplilearn has given me the premium service of the job portals like hirist and iimjobs and the end of this CAREer service is 28 June 2023. Since 26 Dec. 2022 I am applying to eVERY JOB that is showing on both the portals for the Data science.

And as per their policy we have to apply at least 40-50 jobs per month. But here comes the twist, I am 2017 graduate pass out, I have 6 years of experience in different field means my current field is totally different from the Data science field. So, when I apply for fresher’s post also I am not getting any response from the companies as companies prefers recent graduate pass out and for the experienced profile it’s senseless to apply as I have experience in totally different field. But, simplilearn managers are saying to apply in eVERY JOB whether it is for fresher or for experienced person. And I am also doing the same even I am applying for the job asking for 5 years of experience but it’s almost 2 months passed I am only paying EMI’s and in return I am not getting anything. Also, they provided me the premium service of monster job portal in the month of feb. 2023 and it will expire in August 2023. So, these tactics they are doing to extend CAREer service so, that refund can be avoided.

Also I had a mentoring session with simplilearn manager he is saying me that if you need a job in this field then create a fake experience otherwise forget you won’t get a job it is very difficult for 2017 passout to get a job as a fresher also. At that time I felt very bad as they told me at the time of enrollment that you will get job easily, simplilearn has many tie-ups with companies. But, now it seems like a fully and systematic planning.

They are not providing any job, they don't have any tie ups with companies. They just give the premium service of job portals like iim jobs, hirist, monster, naukari etc and will tell you to apply for job as many you can, if you are lucky then your profile will be shortlisted and you can give interview and if got selected they will tell simplilearn provided you job. That's all they are doing. It's a pure business model simplilearn has designed to loot us.

The amount that they have charged for the course is totally incomparable with the content/service simplilearn has provided. The course amount is overrated. These premium services of job portals are available in Rs. 3-5k. The course content is also useless with only 3 live webinar classes and for others they have provided recorded video of 3-5 mins & that are equal to ###. If they would have told me about these portals then I would have definitely not enrolled in their course.

That’s not affair as I am blindly paying EMI’s but not getting anything in return. I was told at time to enrollment that after completing course within a month you will get job and then you can easily pay your EMI’s but nothing happens like that. They did many promises but now I come to know that everything was lie.
