[Resolved]  Sony India — sony 32"kdl w600a - no video display in that screen

I had purchased 32" sony bravia (Model no. KDL32W600A) on 2013 at Reliance Digital show room, Ambattur, Chennai, Tamilnadu. After 3 years(16.10.2017) of successfully running, the display is gone all of a sudden – NO VIDEO in that screen, we heared only audio Then I call the sony service engineer via tool free no. After checking with service engineer, he told panel needs to be replaced and it will cost around RS12500 Why premier brand like sony is discriminating customers like this? If they know they have manufacturing quality issues with panels, they should have replaced the panel with minimal amount irrespective of country as sony is not a local company, it’s a global one and get good customers satisfaction. If an Tv from a brand like sony doesn’t work for even 5-7 years, on what basis should customers differentiate between sony and other brands? It makes more sense to buy products from cheaper brands which cost far less, and unfortunately If there are problems, the repairs are also going to be cheaper.
