My daughter gifted me a sony dsc220/ncin5 in march 2016 purchased from vijay sales, prabhadevi, mumbai. After using for 3-4 occasions, the flap that covers camera's charging point Became loose and it remains in a hanging position now also. I was in usa from july 2017 to june 2018 and the warranty period (April 2018) was over when i returned to india. Can the manufacturing defect be rectified now by sony free of charges?
