State Bank Of India [SBI] — Opting to settlement without informing me even after payment was made | |||||
Complaint Against State Bank Of India I Avinash Kumar Singh, hold a credit card with SBI, my card no is : [protected], I have been harassed by this bank for the past 6 months since July 2015, they have processed for settlement against my card outstanding without any instructions from my end & without my consent in November 2015 after my earlier dispute related to charges was resolved & I had made the payments as well in November 2015, and if they had processed settlement then where is the statement or letter, do they have any proof where I have instructed for the same, do they have any proof of receipt for the same from my end. And when settlement was processed then how could they charge interest against the statement generated in Decemeber 2015??? Pathetic service from this bank and its customer service representatives, 9 out of 10 times supervisors are not available for any complaint. It takes months to get a issue resolved with them, my recent instance is that I had logged a complaint on 30 12.2015, bearing complaint no : 1-[protected], I was told then that my complaint would be resolved within 3 working days & I would get a call back for the same within 3 days. I didnt receive any response till 06.01.16, when I called the customer care on 06.01.16 as usual senior supervisor was not available and I was confirmed that I shall receive a call the same day from SBI card team end, again no information was given to me. Today again when I called the customer care, after my warning that I would escalate this issue to banking ombudsman a senior supervisor spoke to me and again he didnt help me with my complaint instead as usual was busy buying with me. I m now highly upset with their service and their this step of opting for settlement without my consent has taken my frustration to a very high level as this would get updated in my cibil as well. Due to their disgusting service I had stopped making payments, in Sept 2015 one of their representatives assured me to solve my issue raised since July 2015 and get my new address updated as since February 2015 I had called up many times to get my address updated but they never helped me for the same. Despite taking payment these people didnt update my new address. Again I stopped making payments as my both issues were not resolved, my charges issue was finally resolved in first week of November 2015 and I made the payment immediately on 06 or 07th November 2015, now after this payment was received these people have opted for settlement without my consent or without informing me.
