My wife applied for home loan Rs.15 lakhs from SBT motgaging land. The approximate market land value is more than 2 crores. The has given the first instalment of 30 % and promised to pay the next 40 % after completion of ground work. The ground work is over and certificate of Engineer is submitted to the Bank.No asking for the 40% payment bank is refusing to visit the site and asking us to complete the house at lindel level and completion of concreting work.       Edakkara Branch 70710 Requested to our Branch Manager to set my profile password, informed me that to request through net and print then scan and forward to branch, requested through online ( Ref. P641119 ) and forward to branch on 30th May 2014, send several reminders and phone calls to branch manager, but he is not willing to to do anything, more over when we talk with him, his behaviour and attitude is too badly and his attitude helps to grow other private banks in our area., so do needfull.if you required my email copy or any other documents, please let me know, , , , ,

        Dear Sir With reference to the above subject I would like to inform you that I am the NRI account holder with SBT Pooyapally branch (073) since 1998 and my NRI account number is [protected]. My complaint is I have applied a housing loan from SBT Pooyapally branch in February and submitted all the required documents in branch as per the instruction of the Branch Manager on 16th March 2014. The Bank Manager is promised to me that the loan first installment amount will be approved within two weeks in order to finishing of the foundation work. I believed the bank assurance therefore I boost my site work and finish all the foundation work beginning of March. Meanwhile my leave has finished I return to Dubai and power of attorney given to my brother in law. Now almost 45 days over, still I am waiting for the loan money to continue my work but from the bank side no site inspection and there were no effort from bank to approval of loan amount. Now I am in a big trouble in the financial matter and I have stopped all the site work because of no money because of bank cheated to me. I need justice on this case from the bank higher authority and I want to know what the wrong in my loan application. Therefore I am requesting you that please investigate this case do needful action early as possible.           Sir, The ATM inside GUNA COMPLEX, ANNA SALAI, TEYNAMPET, CHENNAI-600 018 was working perfectly when the STATE BANK OF TRAVANCORE ZONAL OFFICE was inside the above premises. After shifting of the ZONAL OFFICE, the ATM is lying out of order for nearly one month. We came to know that the above ATM now comes under CHENNAI ALWARPET Branch. Morethan 1000 persons are working in GUNA COMPLEX including 200 Central Government Employees. It is getting very difficult for us for dealing monitory transactions without the above said ATM within Guna Complex. Please do the needful to rectify problem regarding the above ATM.               Sir, My account no with SBT Balussery branch, Kozhikode district is [protected] which is my family pension account.Since I was out of station I couldnot produce my life certificate in November.So my account was blocked.I gave my life certificate on 17/12/13.I had given a standing instruction to transfer an amount of Rs 14500 to my account with SBI Thamarassery branch.My account has been reactivated now but the amount which I had given standing instruction has not yet been transferred to my account with SBI thamarassery branch.I request you to take necessary action to transfer the amount. regards Sreelatha.N.S

Then no responses for 10 days and again i heard The concerned officer is on leave due to accident. Waiting for the officer and at last The officer come and survey the land which is applied for Home. After one month, am come to the bank and searching about my loan, The officer transferred in somewhere. The Bank People told says that, waiting for some weeks again.Another officer come and survey the land again, What can i do? The construction works was started.Now its stopped.                   I am a customer for SBT Coonoor Branch 643 101, Bedford Circle, Tamilnadu, since 1983. I am a Canadian citizen, however, I file my Income Tax Returns for Income earned in india. I have 2 accouts (1) NRI (2) NRO. On Sept. 29th I wrote an e-mail asking for Bank Statements for both the accounts, to report the interest income, if ant. On Oct. 10th I wrote again, thereafter I called several times. To this day I have not heard a word from my branch, verbally or in writing. I had warned the branch in my subsequent messages that I would not hesitate to take up this matter with the GM, if necessary. I spent a few fours to get to this site. I have all the copies of my messages addressed to the Manager. I do not have an e-mail ID to send it to you. I am angry, frustrated and absolutely disappointed. .I have several Managers since 1983, but have not found one seated in that office presently. I hope to hear from you soon.                     i submitted a written request in SBT Thripunithura (Ernakulam dist, Kerala) branch on the next day after Vinayaka Chathurthi. I am yet to receive he cheque book. I have given another letter on 3 October. It is regrettable that what was a simple efficient system earlier of directly issuing the cheque book across the counter by the branch has been made highly inefficient by centralising the process to no apparent advantage to any one, but high inconvenience to the customer. At the bank we see each person sitting with a computer. Instead of increasing efficiency, it has reduced the efficiency for the customer. although the bank may claim that its operations have improved. When such improvements do not result in faster service to customers in such simple matters like issue co cheque books, the system needs to be reviewed. The number of such complaints in this forum itself is proof. While requesting an early action on my complaint, I also request the authorities to review their system to make their service delivery faster, at least t the level when there was no computer. subramania iyer

                      Sir, I am serving in the Army and I have gained a Housing loan from SBT Chennithala Branch during 2010 (A/c No [protected]). At the time of sanctioning loan the interest rare offered by the bank is 8.5%. I am paying my EMI @Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) till date. Now the bank authorities informed during last payment that after three years interest rates will be @ 13.5%. This condition was not been told by bank authorities during sanctioning of the loan. But as per the Manager this condition is included in the agreement. I was applied for an amount of 10,0000/- (Rupees ten lakhs only) while applying for loan. But the manager advised to take 8 lakh because of non difficulty for sanctioning amount in his own powers. As the amount is urgently required I agreed for the same. Now I cannot understand how the interest rate s increased in such a manner. I am requesting you to go through the matter and do the need full to help a serving soldier.

                      i have recieve my sum amount 199300 dated from 26/04/2012 to 18/05/2012.the brach will pay me 4%rate of intrest annual but mr.puri brach manager commit me 5% on monthly basis because i am paying 14.5%rate of intrest gurgaon gramin bank for loan and i have already take 2 lac on 3% rate of intrest in local market. Please do the needful urgent basis.

                      At the time of account opening , the promises are given by the executive that about certain amount of Money deposited in bank, the excess money will be converted in auto FD and getting FD interest, but all foolish and no response from the bank. Hlp

                        I was took an account from SBT five and half months before ( state bank of travancore-kerala, kannur, main Branch) at that time i gave my passbook. But still now i didn't get the ATM card.They are lagging about this case.
                        .In my case i make an enquery to SBT kannur main branch.They told that "they don't no nothing about my atm card.so we are helpless, and you just wait for that.This is the responce from SBT.

                        So what i do sir.People's are loosing their confidence from this type of facility's.I hope that you take a sudden action when recive my complaint.

                        State Bank of Travancore — zero balance deposit from other branches

                        now as per the new policy sbt zero balance account holders cannot deposit their fund in other sbt branches. this is blocking the existing facility. and also it is a violation of banking sector reforms act and it is also limiting the scope of core banking among rural people

                        State Bank of Travancore — find out the time of atm withdrawals

                        i am having acount with sbt. A/c [protected]. I doubt the misuse of my atm crad.
                        Is it possible to find out the exact date & time of atm cash withdrals of from chempakamangalam atm during jan 1- 18.

                          My name is Anandh.B from Asaripallam, Nagercoil. I have a home loan with state bank of Travancore, Asaripallam branch.(Account #[protected] I need a Provisional Home Loan Interest Certificate (Provisional statement) for my Income Tax purpose. Actually I received a statement from the bank which has the information of total amount of EMI I paid on this financial year. which doesn't have the Principle amount and interest amount. I asked the Branch manager personally and asked a statement with Principle amount and interest, He refused to provide that kind of letter. He told me that He cannot provide other than this format. My company is not accepting that document because It doesn't mention the Principle amount and interest amount. State bank of India is providing the Provisional statement letter with Interest and principle why not SBT is not providing this kind of letters?? I request you to help me regarding this and send me the document which mention the Principle amount and interest amount for the year[protected].

                            I am Chandrasekharan N. P. holder of PAN Card No. AIWPP3855C. I have received a loan (No. [protected]) from the Thrissur Main Branch of State Bank of Travancore and it was closed in last month. But my cibil report shows the status of the loan is 'suit filed'. Let me add that never a suit is filed regarding this loan. I request you to correct it as early as possible.

                              Availed car loan on 28.05.2009 from Sbt at rate of 9.25% . Recently when enquired with Sbt the untreated rate jumped to 14.25% and when asked for the reason they have no specific answer , were I have made payment more than which is required .

                              I would be happy to know why I am being charged so high , it's literally cheating the consumer by hiking the intrest rate without prior notice . If it's a mistake from Sbt side do get me a reversals of the extra amounts that you had looted from me.

                                I have a NRI a/c with STATE BANK OF TRAVENCORE. And I recieved an internet ID and Password on request . I chenged the initial password, after two three months i did't use the online facility, so i forgot my online username & password . please instruct to me how to recover my username & password
                                Please do the needful.

                                  I tried to withdraw Rs.1000/- from Corporation Bank's ATM(Ravipuram Branch, Ernakulam) using my State Bank of Travancore ATM Card on 03.03.2012 [6.55pm]. The message shown on the ATM screen was " TRANSACTION DECLINED". Later I went home and checked my account using Internet banking and realised that the amount has been debited. Since I am residing at Ernakulam I had sent a complaint within an hour to SBT Customer Service. SBT Pettah Branch, sent an e-mail to me stating that they have lodged a complaint with ATM nodal through Complaint Management System and the complaint id is[protected]. Till now the amount has not been credited. I hope you could help me with this matter.

                                  MEDICAL COLLEGE KOTTAYAM — PAN CARD NOT AT RECEIVED

                                  I have not at received my pan card.I have applied application in february 2008.Please take necessery step to get pan card.acknowledge no.[protected].
                                  the agency give a no.ASVM7481J
                                  I started an account in SBT,kottayam medical colg branch on january 2011(acc no [protected]) and also applied for an ATM.The bank staff forgot to enter my house name in the application and my ATM card was sent back to SBT headquarters mumbai by post office.

                                  I went to bank several times for this but they asked me to wait for 1 month ,then 2 months and it went on for 3.5 months.In the mean period i asked them to isssue a duplicate card but they were continously discouraging it telling that the secret pin of my card is already with them and for issuing a new card also it will take 3 months.

                                  Finally i got my card on april last week.When i went to use it the card was found to be blocked by the bank.I went to my branch again and talked to the manager and the staff in charge and they assured me that it wil take only 24 hrs to clear it.They lold that they will mail the complaint that day itself.

                                  After 5 days there was no response so i went to bank again and the staff told he mailed it but someone who should receive the mail on other end is on leave for 2 wks so there will be a delay till 3rd MAY 2011.On 5th may i again went to the branch and the staff told he wlll mail it again .Iam still waiting for "him to mail".

                                  Everything went wrong because one of their staff forgot to enter my house name .That can happen to anyone but their blunt attitude towards the matter irritates me.
                                  I dont believe that everything will be done with this complaint.But i want everyone who reads this to know about the situation in our banks and thats the reason for everyone running behind private banks.

                                    I am totally upset over the irritating behaviour of the Sbt staff..i ve noticed this a few years back but i never had the chance to experience until yesterday when i got a chance to remit my income tax at a branch in trivandrum..The bloody staff mostly over 40 years do not have proper knowledge of the things happening in the banking sector...exept a few majority of the staff are unfriendly...they behave in such a manner as if we owe something to them...

                                    After my irritating Experience i discussed this matter with my friends to my surprise one of my friend told his harrowing experience abt Sbt...his cousin who is sbt customer and having credit facilities above 2 crores with that bank had recently switched over to another new generation bank...the new generation bank took over his existing liability of sbt and granted an additional sum which is two and half times of the sum he had availed from Sbt...so nw after one and half months of this take over the new generation bank and the customer is trying hard to get their property papers released from the banks custody...The customer has promptly repaying the credit facilities availed by him..he doent owe a single paisa to the sbt in any way...

                                    Now the explanation the particular branch has given has kept me laughing for an entire day..they say that the official who is supposed to open the safe and return the collateral papers is on leave due to loose motion...


                                    so isnt there anyone in that branch who can act on behalf of the official who is in hospital bcoz of loose motion....
                                    so these are just two irritating incidents ..i ve decided to unearth as much experiences by customers like me ...


                                    Top level management please do anything to train your staff on customer relations and behaviour

                                      This greviance is with regards to the "support" offered by way of call center for State of Travancore customers.

                                      Having requested for an online account, the end user "customer" recieves a start up kit consisting of a letter with the STATE BANK GROUP letter head which inherently carries the start up Internet Banking Username and the start up Internet Banking password. This document was recieved at the State Bank of Travancore bank office countersigned for record available for inspection at the branch office.

                                      We are informed that the account will be activated the next day or within 24 hrs. Since the account was not activated, we proceeded to contact the call center number[protected] listed in the document contained in the start up kit. Upon getting in touch with the call center, we were shunned down stating that the call center only services State Bank of India customers but do not support "associated" banks i.e., State Bank of Travancore.

                                      Our complaint is that being declared as part of the State Bank Group why are we not supported the call center for our banking queries. Upon further investigation/conversation with the representative we wer informed to visit the bank branch since the online services are either limited or not available.

                                      The call center cannot even address the concern as simple as the status of activation of the online service.

                                      This is clear case of ignorance since if the intention of an online banking feature is customer banking portability which is sadly not realised.

                                      The concern of the consumer has to be addressed and the entity is to be questioned about the reliability of the document and the assured support to the consumer.

                                      This is also a case of the consumer being misguided by the entity. If this goes unchecked the entity will take advantage of the consumer's silence.

                                      This Banks Sucks. I am not able to change my mobile number through online and asking to send approval form to manager. WTF...I emailed the signed, scanned copy to branch manager and at last he responded by updating the number after 3 weeks. I logged in and can see that, he entered wrong number. The issue is still going on...

                                        I'm an NRI, who opted for a Car Loan in SBT, Koothatukulam Branch, Ernakulam, for 5 Lacks for a vehicle coasting 14 Lack's, I did have this amount in my NRE account of the same bank & did ask them 2 deduct the monthly amount from this account! & did pay Rs 2 Lack's after 3 months too..I then had a look on my Transaction details later & found that, they have included Rs 40,000 with the Loan Amount, without Informing Me!I did enquire about this ISSUE & they said "We have informed you very Clearly about the SBI Insurance" but I was'nt informed! I asked them,Why din't they give me the Insurace Reciept & Details! they were like..Its for the bank too keep! I dint get any information from Insurance SBI Company too! I did enquire, others who have taken Car Loan in the same bank & found they did not have Death Insurance! Now, They said, the only thing they can do is give me 50% of insurance amount back,on completion of Loan!
