I had booked a stay at morritt farm stay in kolar through stayzilla on may 12, 2016. The booking order id is[protected][protected]. The booking was for the dates may15-16. I received a mail from stayzilla confirming receipt of payment and of my room along with hotel manager's contact details.
The day before i was to reach the hotel, i got a call from the manager of morrit farms informing me that he too received a mail from stayzilla saying that they have credited my advance amount to their firms account, but the account number mentioned in the mail was not theirs. And that they have not received any amount from stayzilla for my booking.
The manager of morritt and i tried contacting stayzilla through mail and phone, but did not get any response. The mail id mentioned in their contact details is fake and the mail bounced. Following this i was forced to cancel my trip. I need to know how i can contact them to get my full refund back.

Thanks a lot to the people behind Consumer Complaints. I received a mail from [email protected] on 21st May informing that they realize the fault and have initiated complete refund of my advance booking amount. I have received the payment to my bank account today.

Fraud Commitment

I have done a booking in coorg throught stayzill and the hotel management called and said that they are no rooms are available on the booking period.

i have cancelled the booking but no confirmation of cancel as of now.

the contact numbers are working, it is ridiculous.

i want my refund

    I booked the hotel on 16-may-2016 and received booking id:[protected][protected].

    Also paid 30% of the amount, today received message that my booking is cancelled and contact customer care.

    I've been trying to contact them for refund status or modify my booking to different hotel but their telephone numbers are not available, not even they are bothered to reply my emails. This is really frustrating. If the rooms were not available why were they offered in the first place.

    Stayzilla has very bad customer service. Yesterday received an email that they are looking for another accomodation but no update so far.

    These guys are not even bothered to reply via emails or calls that too after charging 30% of the booking amount. Still no booking confirmation has been received. Please refund my amount ASAP.

Now i confirm with hotel management they deny that 18 may already booked then how stayzilla online bookings still open. 2nd all contact details are wrong no.In stayzilla side.
      Really fruested for that services, request to you please refeund the amount or give option to another hotels in mahabaleshwar.

        I have made payment of rs. 3619 for the above mentioned booking id for hotel visco resort, mandi (Hp). And the hotel is explaining that they have not recieved any payment from stayzilla. Therefore, booking is not confirmed.
        I am trying to call their customer care number which is not working. Now, suggest me how will i get my money back at the earliest.

            HI,

            I had booked Rooms through Stayzilla on 26th February, I had paid an advance of Rs. 1, 873/- for booking two rooms for two days at Shree Gurukripa Atithibhaven Hotel, Mathura. Today i.e. on 06.05.16, when tried to confirm the booking with hotel he denied of having received any order from the stayzilla and stayzilla has disconnected their customer care number customer mail ID.

            This last minute issue has created lot of problem for us.

              We had booked a room in Rajat Home stay from Stayzilla in Chandigarh for 2 nights and they did not bother to send the confirmation voucher. When we went to the home stay, there were no booking done and when we called back they gave some nonsense reasons and gave an alternate hotel Silver Bells which has pathetic, horrible place. Rooms were spitted with gutka, no wardrobes, no towels, stinking toilets, no service and it literally made us to walk out as we could not bear the smell. They made us stand in hot sun as booking was not confirmed. Stayzilla charged us the breakfast and did not provide the same. Stayzilla is cheating by providing false information and charging double without giving any service. The guy at Stayzilla who handled this was Alex and was totally ignorant and said he cannot give alternative and no refund nor cancel. I would suggest people to call hotels directly rather than get cheated by such mediators..Beware of STAYZILLA...dont fall into their trap..

                I have been complaining since more than a month but I continue to receive messages regarding a booking I made in August 2015. There has been no resolution on my complain yet.
                This is the message I am receiving -

                I booked 3 rooms at hotel trimurti puri through you from 25/3 to 29/03 but not received confirmation from hotel.
                I booked hotel at Ujjain through Stayzilla.com, money was deducted but booking in hotel was not confirmed. I asked refund of money through e-mails [protected]@stayzilla.com & [protected]@stayzilla.com but no response from Stayzilla.com is received.

                    I booked a Suite A/C Double room at Araku valley( Vihar Holiday Inn resort) through a website Stayzilla for 23rd and 24th Jan, 2016. I made a payment of 287 Rs online and was asked to make the remaining payment at the hotel at the time of check in. I got a confirmation message and a mail with all the details of the room booked. Immediately, I confirmed a private cab to come down to my place.

                    After 15 mnts, I got a call from Stayzilla stating that the room booked at Vihar holiday inn is not available and will show us alternates. They gave us an alternate to stay at some hotel in a Non A/C room. I surfed the internet and found that the hotel is not good.

                    They are making their business by fooling people. They spoiled my entire plan. My family is disappointed and I ended up paying the travels.

                    I have the proof of their confirmation sent to me.

                      If you want to ruin your holidays then stayzilla is THE BEST option I can recommend.

                      The phone support of this site is such a nice that it will make sure that you get tiered of irritation. you will never ever able to reach out to the same person if you call second time.

                      also you will always have to explain your problem in detail every time

                      anyways, here is I am sharing my experience with stayzilla, I booked hotel through it two months prior and I also got conformation for the same, However I confirmed that on email as well as on phone though when I reached to the hotel for check in, hotelier denied my booking straight away stating that stayzilla haven't approached to him with my booking.

                      On calling stayzilla they asked to wait me for some time to fix the confusion, so kept calling after every 10-15 mins to them and explained the same problem again and again to them.

                      so it took them 4-5 hours to tell me that they are sorry about the confusion and they cant do anything about it and asked me to look for another hotel by refunding my booking amount.

                      this is totally unprofessional and BS.

                      so in short if you want to play with your companions emotions and ruin your holidays then please go to stayzilla and book your stay.

                        Sorry to inform you that the hotel which I booked in that they didn't provide me to check in with my family. Initially the hotel guy asked for id proof so i provided my govertment id proof (voter id), then he started asking for my wife's id proof luckily she had her driving licence. Then he started saying that how he will believe you people are married even though she is wearing(mangal sutra) unfortunately we were not carrying marriage certificate with us at that time. I can understand te situation as it was late night where i could take my family to any other place as it was unknown to me so i requested provide me two seperate rooms for that also they didnt allowed whole night i stayed at railway station waiting hall and for this stayzilla didnt helped at all.They behaved unmannered way and very rudely. Hotel name- Al zaiqa Booking id[protected][protected] I am having all call records which I had with Stayzilla regarding booking. They are saying hotelier won't provide rooms for unmarried couples but its wrong I am married and I have my marriage certificate I can provide once I get any response from your end. Is this a way this people treat their customers? This is the second time I suffered this kind of misbehaviour and disrespect from hotelier and I informed the same to Stayzilla at the same time but they didn't took any action and not even willing to refund my paid amount of Rs.1200. Even this was paid booking and not even provided to stay with family. Me and my family was suffered by staying at railway station platform at midnight. I have all proper evidence and recordings which had with your representatives. So this time definitely gonna give case in consumer forum on your website for adding this kind of cheap third rate hotels in your website and kindly refund my paid amount Rs.1200.

                          Do not Book your stay through http://www.stayzilla.com/ they are based in chennai and are fraud company, I had booked one hotel in Allahabad with stayzilla but upon arrival I found it was stinking, so I did not check in and stayed in other hotel. Immediately I informed them and after continuous followup of one month they agreed to return 50% back but till date I have not received any amount. Be aware of this fraud company...

                              This is to inform you that I had great inconvenience because of cancellation of Hotel Rajveer, Mandvi, Gujarat booking after payment, confirmation and issue of Order no. I was told 2 days earlier that my booking has been cancelled & they suggested alternate booking at almost double the original booking in the same hotel, but since I already had bad experience with stayzilla, I thought that I may face similar situation and lose higher amount of money and did not book through them. I had a tough time finding alternate accommodation due to holiday rush. Also, stayzilla charged extra from my account on my credit card and no one is now attending or answering our calls & mails for refund.The details of refund are : 1) Refund of cancellation of Mandvi booking (Order No.[protected][protected] of Rs.700. 3) Extra amount taken in my booking of Bhug against order no.[protected][protected] Rs.316 ( Taken Rs.1152 against Rs.826) Total refund pending is Rs.700+Rs.316 = Rs.1016.                                 I was searching for hotel stay on the 29th Oct as my sister is getting married on the 8th of November this year. I wanted a stay option near khar linking road. A webchat executive from stayzilla suggested hotel linkway khar west. All confirmed and money paid and I got a confirmation from stayzilla that reservation is confirmed on the 29th of Oct at 3pm. At around 10 pm the same day post taking money from my account I got a mail from stayzilla that the reservation isn't confirmed and that the hotel rooms r booked completely and it isn't available for those dates. On the 30th of Oct I got a call from hotel linkway khar stating that they have rooms however they aren't tied up with stayzilla for about a year now. They have been asking stayzilla to remove their hotel from the listing however they didn't. I called stayzilla they said rooms r soldout completely. I gave them the fact. The manager Suresh had no words to say and said he will call me back. Then another executive called me saying rooms are sold out. I told them not to lie and that I am expecting a call from the manager at stayzilla. I got another call.offering a different room near station which I didn't want as all arrangements were done hoping this hotel room is confirmed. I called them again and the manager Suresh said he will get me the same reservation at same hotel linkway. I hv booked beautician and everyone according to it. They haven't been calling me to give multiple options. The options they give were pathetic hotels and around station while wedding is in linking road. I explained we don't want to get stuck in traffic. Yesterday they said they will go to the hotel personally and get it sorted and today same old story, either rooms r booked or hotelier isn't taking money from them. Firstly money was taken from me and I was assured room reservation. Then I was been told it was sold out. Then hotelier says they don't have tieups with stayzilla. And now stayzilla says the hotelier has rooms doesn't accept payment via stayzilla. Ideally they should have told this before taking money. It's cheating after taking money. I wish to take this ahead. And complain as it's causing lot of issues. With the wedding in 3 days I am unable to reschedule the beautician to a different venue.                                   This is regd. Pathetic facilities and services of PalmCoast beachresort, Chirala, booked through Stayzilla and suffered two nights with my family. No attempts were made by Stayzilla team to fix the gaps. Instead they deny any refund saying “We have already made payment to hotel hence cant refund”. Escalation team (Thomas, Phillip and Uma Mageshwari) are absolutely pathetic/disgusting in their customer service approach and don't seem to be convinced even if I have given enough screenshot of the dirty/unhealthy facilities of hotel.I need legal action against these fraud people and organization.

                                  :
                                  1.Washing and cleaning water is completely salty (same as sea water). I have to get water can to survive.
                                  2.Salt deposits on the roof tops clearly depicts it
                                  3.Paid for breakfasts, where as it is complementary (Bills attached, along with lunch food but exclude them)
                                  4.Room service (Cleaning was pathetic) as you literally have to go and tell them for cleaning. (No soap, handwash available in toilets)
                                  5.It was a double-bed deluxe room, but the bed was of Cane and that to two beds were joined and with two separate mattress. Very difficult for the kid to sleep along with two adults.
                                  6.Swimming pool has drain waters(pics attached). When I complained, they drained the water out, but the dirtiness is clearly visible and no one can dare to get into such pool.
                                  7.Basic stuffs like fish and tea are not available when you need them most.
                                  8.Mr. Sunil (Stay contacts) never bothered to check with us, if the facilities are fine and did not try rectifying them.
                                  9.Overall the hotel does not meet any standards of a resort.

                                  Concerns against Stayzilla customer care and Escalation team:
                                  •Lodged a complaint on the same day of my stay about the poor quality and service with Stayzilla but no response that day.
                                  •Second day lodged another complaint in the morning, but no response again.
                                  •Second day afternoon lodged the 3rd complaint, upon which the Escalation team contacted (Thomas) and assured to take action.
                                  •No action taken by Thomas, nor tried contacting me (Miserable person with no sense of customer empathy)
                                  •Upon reaching Hyderabad, contacted customer care again and escalations teams (almost 10 times now) but in return what I got is that, Stayzilla will not refund the money as they have already paid to the hotel owner.
                                  •Escalated again to senior management on 27th and reached to Philip. This guy was even pathetic and sucks big time. He said the same thing but in a more diplomatic manner. He said can't help me and only can spare me with a 500 rs. gift voucher. (looks like am a bloody fool)
                                  •Philip committed me that he will talk to the Hotel management for the final time see what he can do for me.

                                    Refund of hotel booking I was trying to book hotel accommodation through www.stayzilla.com on date 17.10.2015 for stay during 12th nov 2015 to 14th nov 2015 in hotel kumar plaza, matheran. To my surprise, the reservation was automatically done for the dates 15th nov 2015 to 16th nov 2015 n hotel kumar plaza, matheran ., which i came to know only after payment for the transaction matured. The website is not at all transparent & user friendly in this respect. The booking id :[protected][protected] However, shortly after the reservation, i called the call center of www.stayzilla.com, to request change of dates, but they showed inability and directed me to cancel the booking. Here also, i was compelled to bear the cancellation charges for no fault of mine. Even after lapse of 7 days, i am yet to receive the refund. I am compelled to call the call center, but on each occasion, i receive the same reply that it will take 5-6 business days to refund the amount. Please look into the matter and help me get my money back.                                       Stayzilla is a fraud, fake .com Simply collecting money, taken credit card pin no etc from the customers and not able to do any booking against the order no.[protected][protected]. Upto collecting money they said the rooms are available, after collecting money they are saying that the rooms are not available. Regarding this we made more than 25 calls sent mails, but there is no response from their end. What Government going to do with this type of fake companies.                                         Hi, Would like to bring into notice about the false commitment Stayzilla.com makes. On 29th Sept'15, i had made a payment Rs. 1300 towards a room booking in Hotel Disha Palace in Shirdu for 2nd Oct'15 Check in & 3rd oct Check out for 2 Triple A/C room for 6 adult. I had received the payment confirmation too. Next day i get a call from them stating rooms are sold out. Then they suggest a substandard hotel of accomodation & in return i had too suggest my choices to book from. They came back with the option of Hotel Leelavati in Shirdi but mentioned i'd have to pay Rs 450 extra at the hotel. That was ridiculous, one you already my booking amount for a booking which they could not confirm and instead of sweetning & compensate for their flaw they ask me to pay additional. Then i had made a booking for Samudra Service Apartment (pent house) on 1st Oct'15, while i was on the phone with a Stayzilla executive who confirmed availablity of the room for the Check in of 3rd Oct & Check out on 4th. Next day i aws waiting for a Check-in voucher which they did not provide till 2nd October evening 8 o'clock. Forcibly i had to call them up to enquire and i was astonished to listen that even Samudra was full, and they had no courtesy to inform. Luckily i called and came to know. There i wasted couple of hours being troubled about my accomodation. There too i had to suggest an option and finally booked DS Group Serviced apartment. For Samudra i had paid Rs 3000 & the booking amount for DS Group was Rs 1800. Today is 8th Oct and I am yet to get the Refund or even a courtesy/update call from Stayzilla. This is the kind of pathetic service they provide. highly disappointed by the way of work, where they take the payment from customer without them having a clarity of availability.
