I have made a order from swiggy on 23 Jul 2023, at 9:53 PM from Pizza Hut restaurant. As pizza hut is a known brand i had a confidence that the food quality will be appropriate and they will maintain it as well.
But my experience was shocking as I received uncooked BLAND food, which is totally opposite of what I have experienced during dine-in in the restaurant. I have reported this to swiggy and to the restaurant as well.
I paid around 400/- for the same and asked swiggy to report it to the restaurant and asked for return from swiggy. But swiggy didn't take the calls at the hour when the food was delivered and after many complaints and request, they just denied the refund saying its restaurants fault.
I even spoke to restaurant and they accepted the fault and gave feedback to swiggy to refund the amount. But swiggy denied and kept the money. This is really rude that they just keeps customer money after sending bland food.
Swiggy is playing cheap tricks over the faut of restaurant and gaining money. I would still look forward to getting the refund as whoever's is in fault, its my money that was wasted 100% and swiggy really doesn't care about customer. They didn't even escalate the issue, just said its a quality issue so I had to separately speak to restaurant. They are just playing games and selling food items at higher rates.
Swiggy please refund my money as it was your teams fault, I paid you not to restaurant.
