Swiggy — complaint about the delivery boy not wanting to deliver the food at the time of delivery | |||
I ordered food from 'mandarin oak' located in kamothe, navi mumbai on swiggy at 1pm today. At 2pm i got a call from delivery partner. (Tracking order map showed the food is 10mins away). I order veg schezwan fried rice for my spouse as i was not at home. Usually i order food when i m not at home. The delivery partner named anuj raj said he had problem with his bike and can't deliver the food. I told him there's no one at home who can travel and collect. I said the same to chat executive ashish. He was insisting to cancel the order as the delivery boy is not willing to deliver the food. I even told them, there are n no of other delivery execs who travel to my residence, you could have traveled along with them. Also there are auto rickshaws or other means of transport, i would have told someone to pay for the travel. But he denied the same and adamant that he will not deliver. This is totally unacceptable. My spouse has to wait for an hour and then we don't get the food. Finally, i cancelled the order as the delivery boy disconnected my phone and didn't even picked the call made by customer executive. I want to take a necessary action against such issues. So that people like me who are super customers of swiggy don't have to face such issues in future.
