This is with regards to my Swiggy Instamart Order number [protected] which I had ordered yesterday night .
I have been a loyal customer of Swiggy and hence I am unhappy and Furious about the negligent approach by the Local Instamart stores regarding the delivery of my order .
It was late night at around 11 pm that my 4 year old Son wanted to have some Fruit yougurt before going to bed . So I ordered Epigamia Fruit Yogurt and and Ice Cream from Swiggy Instamart.
As usuals I received the order perfectly on time .
I was just about to open one out of 6 Yougurt that I had ordered and I almost opened one of it but seeing the condition of the yogurt packaging which looked old I happened to check the expiry date on the Yougurt box and I was shocked to read the expiry as 12/9/2023 which means it’s almost expired 25 days back and no one from the stores has checked the Inventory and it’s validity .
How can the company like Swiggy be so causal and Negligent with respect to the health and safety of its product consumers ? This is utter negligence which can lead to food poising and serious health issue of the consumers.
When I raised the complaint the Learned Swiggy executive on the system apologised and assured escalation of the issue with the refund … But this doesn’t fix the Issue .
I have lost my brand loyalty toward Swiggy now because of this incidence. Also it looks like the items sold as discounted on Instamart are either long expired or close to expiry .
I think only in India such issues are taken lightly but if it’s in abroad consumer sues the company for negligence.
I wish to register my Complaint regarding this .
