Swiggy — Order Cancelled and No Refund | |
I had ordered food through online app swiggy on 17 may 2021 at around 8 pm. I made the online payment of Rs. 1492/- towards the bill and the same successfully debited from my account and the order was also accepted from swiggy. I received a call from swiggy delivery executive at around 8: 30 pm that due the current situation the order is taking time but he has reached the restaurant and will deliver the order as soon as possible. After half an hour I received a message from swiggy that my order is cancelled due to no response from my side and money paid was forfeited as cancellation fees. I have been escalating this matter with the proof of call log that the call was responded. They accepted their mistake and reversed me with Rs. 700 in form of coupon. For no mistake of mine why should I bear a loss of half the bill amount. I reverted back saying the same and I will only accept refund inform of cash. Now after 2 days of their so called investigation they have replied with full of lies that they have tried multiple time to contact me through phone and message but I didn't responded hence they will not make any refund. I have proved that I attended the call and they are not providing any proof that would justify their case. I have attached the screenshot of the call log that was made between me and swiggy executive. Hence I request to look into the matter and resolve this at the earliest.. these companies are taking advantages of online payment made before delivery. Looking forward for positive response from your end.
