[Resolved] Swiggy — swiggy order not delivered | |||
I had placed a food order through the Swiggy app from the registered number [protected]. The prepaid order was accepted at around 8.30 p.m. with delivery time of 35 min. But I never received the order. I also did not receive any confirmation call/sms for any delivery. I waited until 10 p.m. and then checked my app, it indicated the order status as delivered. I tried to contact the customer care repeatedly. After many trials, I was able to speak to someone from Swiggy at 1.30 am. He told me that my order has been delivered at an address that we had left a year back. I thought that it must've happened inadvertently. But what surprised me was, when I checked, no one is staying at that address now and the house is locked. I have some serious grievances with Swiggy. 1. Why was no confirmation call given to me before delivery of the order at the address? Other food apps follow that routine and always give a call when they reach the gates. 2. When there is no one staying at the address of wrong delivery, how could Swiggy claim that it was delivered? Surely no ghost would've accepted the order! 3. I have lost my money, nearly 900/- and want a refund with compensation for all the inconvenience suffered. Was this information helpful? | |||
