Beware of swiggy. Swiggy customer care is just pathetic. I had ordered vide order number [protected] on 15/04/2019 and paid by my debit card. However, since one of the items was not available, swiggy delivered me the rest and claimed the balance of inr 50/- will be refunded in my account within 5-7 days. Today it is 17 days running and there is no refund of the said amount. I have followed up with the customer innumerable number of times and they have standard response that the refund is sent and i will recieve it in 5-7 days. And they comment it even after 15 days.
Yesterday again, same thing has happened. I had order some items vide order number [protected], which was cancelled bythe resturant due to unavailability. The customer care contacted me and i informed that i will like to take some other items in place of this. But without my consent they sent me a sms that a the money will be refunded in 5-7 days. Since i already has this experience of this pathetic refund system of swiggy, i contacted them for my immediate refund or adjustment of money; but the customer service has been parroting the same words - "your money will be refunded within 5-7 days".
I have two objection point in this.
First, why shouldn't the refund come to my account immediately - in these days of online bank service a transfer shouldnot take more than 15 minutes. Why i have to wait for 5-7 days, which in earlier case has been 17 days.
Second, i am loosing some interest (No matter how small it may be) during this waiting period. Why should we loose money for a fault from swiggy. Was this information helpful? |

I did the payment of Rs.325 through payment gateway using UPI id in google pay, due to more time taking for delivery I had to cancel the order but still didnt get my refund.
