I am filing this complaint to report continuous unsolicited and harassing calls from Swiggy, despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly with their support team.
Two years ago, as a student, I registered for the Swiggy Delivery Partner program to understand their logistics system. However, I did not proceed further with the program and have never worked as a delivery partner.
For the past 3–4 months, I have been receiving 6–8 calls daily from Swiggy offering promotional messages like “special extra delivery charges.” These calls have been coming from different numbers, making it impossible to block them effectively. The frequency of these calls is highly disruptive, especially during my classes.
Attempts to Resolve the Issue:
I contacted Swiggy’s customer care at +[protected], but they claimed my number was not registered in their system.
I also sent messages via Swiggy’s official WhatsApp support, but received no response.
Despite these efforts, the calls persist, causing me stress and anxiety, as I often mistake them for emergency calls from family or friends.
Relief Requested:
Immediate removal of my contact number from all Swiggy databases and call lists.
Assurance that I will not receive any further calls or messages from Swiggy.
Investigation into this issue to prevent similar harassment for other users.
I request the Consumer Forum to take strict action against Swiggy for violating my privacy rights and causing mental distress through excessive and unsolicited communication.
