There has been no garbage removal on the mudichur road west tambaram near to the laxmipuram stopping. They clean daily on the EAST side of the road since thye have hotels run by the local coounsellor, but they do not clean it on the west side all the way from the petrol bunk to the TASMAC. There are piles and loads of garbage lying on the road side for days now.

      Tambaram Municipality

      Dear Respected Sir,

      While appreciate the various measure
taken by the Tambaram Municipality in addressing the issues pertaining to
provision of civic amenities, we wish to state that there are certain flaws
that go unnoticed. Encroachment of storm
water drains has become common practice among residents. One blatant violation
      has taken place on Old
MES Lines, East Tambaram, where a resident has constructed a step and slope
on the drain. This will result the Rain Water will stagnate in front of the
other Houses. Already in our Western Side of the street there more
encroachment. We are able to enter in to our street only through Eastern side.

When residents objected to this practice, he
vehemently opposed our effort to sensitise him on the dangers of this blatant
encroachment. Representations to the elected representative have not yielded
any result so far. Hence, we request you to visit the place once to ascertain
the situation and take the remedial action.

Hope you understood the plight of the residents and
your prompt action in this regard will be much appreciated.

      Your Faithfully,

        Dear Sir,

The solid waste management in Camp Road area in Selaiyur, Tambaram municipality has been apalling. The current process of solid waste management is inadequate for the amount of garbage getting collected in the area. Inspite of sanitary workers showing up to work every day, garbage is littered all over the road through out the day. Garbage can be found in Sriramnagar (100 feet road-Next to Bharathi school, Opp to Selaiyur Telephone Exchange, near by Shakthi Gardens apartment), Ganesh nagar, Tambaram-Velachery main road - Camp road junction (next to Tasmac shop). Apart from the foul smell and mosquitos/insects surrounding the garbage, unattended cows pull away the uncollected garbage causing more nuisance and also cause traffic issues.

Please inspect the Sriramnagar, Camp road junction area and kindly improve the sanitory conditions in the area.

        Thanks

        Sankar Balasubramaniam,

        Selaiyur, Chennai.

The Sathyasai nagar locality is paying a huge price for civic authorities inefficiency and pathetic planning. They started the underground drainage system 8 months back and dug out the already narrow roads. The holes were not closed during monsoon creating a help for people. Post monsoon till date there has been no action. Roads are bad that emergency services like fire tender and ambulance cannot reach most of the streets. People owning cars are forced to park them in other paid parking areas as they cannot take it to their society parking. I wonder what progress is going to happen with govt busy saving its face from all corruption charges and the elections round the corner. It's really a shame on them to maintain their city this way. Please do something to solve this problem

As all telling the road condition not only in Tambaram but also all over Chennai is worse. We afraid to go out of the house in night time. In olden days people afraid of thieves to go out but nowadays we afraid due to the road condition. It is very worse. Even told to the proper person nobody is taking care of this public request. I request once again to take the proper action in the near future and do something to rectify this matter soon.
Actually most of the residential areas in West Tambaram are filled with rain water and drainage water since there is no outlet. Emergent and temporary arrangement should be made immediately

The Municipal authorities of tambaram should wakeup and do some thing for their garbage clearance which is in a pitiable condition.Heaps and heaps of garbage on road sides, particularly in Tambaram (East),Selaiyur,Camp Road,Bharat University area are uncleared for days together and most of the places there are no dustbins. What happended to the TIDY TABARAM they are lamenting about? Why hasnt the new Collector of the Kanchipuram District make a visit to these areas? Will somebody wakeup and rap up the authorities before this place becomes a dumbing yard of garbage?

Due to repaire works under taken in the service road at Irumbuliyur, all havy vechiles are usuing the TTK Nagar Roads which were laid after much strugglings, Thse vechiles which are comming to reach Mudichur Road get strucked in the newlly buit up under ground drainage ducts. These havy vechiles allready broken the two and one is yet to be broken. Nobody takes any intrest to curtail the traffic comming in the residential roads . Complaint made to Commissiar by one of our residents made their visit for a day and afterwards the thing had resumed. The only solution is to complete the service road construction work and tiill such time prevent havy vechiles using the residential road, which will take another decade to lay fresh.

I am staying at Engineers Avenue, Sunnambu Kolathur (Near to Kovilambakkam). There is a water canal (oadai or kalvai) in our area. There was very bad smell and lots of mosquitoes due to the contempt water. There were few people started cleaning it last week but they missed to completely clean. They took dusts from this water canal and placed outside of the canal. They did not completely remove all dusts from this canal. We are not able to see those people this week. Due to this uncompleted work, there are some bad smell came through out the day. The side roads are also messed up with the waste taken from canal. It would be better if it has been addressed to save many of the people including infants who living at nearby to this canal.
