Toyota — against mobile services of highland toyota | |||
I owned an etios liva where i met with a minor accident on sunday the 6th august 2017 at jaiaw, shillong which less than 1/2 an hour away from highland toyota situated at mawiong rim, shillong.in the accident, after personal inspection, only the tie rod end needs to be replaced so that i can just drive to the service centre (Highland toyota) for further check-up. The car need not to be towed down as a simple replacement of the said broken part can be done. I phone, informed and requested the centre in highland toyota to send their mobile unit to the accident site which is just 30 minutes away to come for inspection, leave alone the replacement of the said part on monday the very next day after the accident i. E. On the 7th august at 9:30 am knowing that sunday is holiday for highland toyota. The service manager of the said service centre flatly refused to comply with my request informing that they can come to the accident site only at 2:00 pm. I even informed him that i have to attend office at 11 am but he cited that he cannot send before that as less technicians are available.in dire need for my car to be shifted from the site, i personally went to highland toyota for the matter where i personally met the service manager and requested him but he again refused cited that he cannot help. There is no way out for me but to request him to issue me the spare part where i can do the replacement by calling any private service centre. This he provided. This is done at my own risk as private centres are not reliable. I want to inform here that i bought the car from highland toyota itself and trust them for their services. Having less technicians is not my business but their business. All i need is their service especially in emergency cases like mine. Even a single technician can do the replacement of the said part. The private service centre did this by sending only one person. Hence, such matter and incidents cannot be tolerated where it had spoiled the relation with the centre (Highland toyota).
