Vodafone — Identity theft a
I ported my wife''s number from Vodafone to Airtel on the 27 August 2015. Vodafone has allotted the same number to another person while my wife''s number was still active on Airtel. I complained about the above at Vodafone store in indirangar, no action was taken till my 4th visit to their store regarding the same issue. My wife was getting harassment calls from her own number.(i.e if your number is [protected] and you receive regular calls from [protected]) my wife and i were shocked to see this happen and really annoyed because of the calls and text messages from unknown people. Finnaly the calls and texts stopped after i went to vodafone store for the 4th time and yelled at them saying i am gonna take legal actions against them. Now, I have been getting calls from Vodafone collection department regarding a payment that is due. How can vodafone bill me when my wife''s using Airtel and without clearing all the dues no company lets a customer to Port to a different connection. Vodafone has committed an identity fraud by allotting the same numbers to 2 different users and harassing a non customer of theirs. I wanna Sue them badly for which i need some help from you guys. Thanks in advance Prasanna Balaji [protected] Was this information helpful?
