[Resolved]  Vodafone India — Faulty billing, poor greviance redressal and mental harrasment

I have been using my Vodafone postpaid number +91-[protected] since last 5 years and having an excellent record of bill payment while i shifted from Idea to Aircel in 2011 and Aircel to Vodafone in 2013. I have been following all the proper checks of the usage and adopting measures to minimize my bills. The recent bill received against my usage from[protected] to[protected] is under dispute. I have been subscribed to 1.5GB free 3G data that I could use on Vodafone network all over India. Besides this, if my usage limit exhausts, i subscribe to additional 1GB package by sending SMS "ACT AB1GB" to 111 for 250Rs to be included in my billing cycle. The current bill from[protected] to[protected] has been prepared without giving me any discount for additional packs that i activated on 10th Sept 2014, 14th Sept 2014 & 17th Sept 2014. I activated the 1st 1GB pack on 10th Sept 2014 and received the confirmation the same day. On 14th Sept i received an SMS stating that the package of additional 1GB has been deactivated (Attached Screenshot). I immediately sent another SMS to activate another 1GB pack on 14th Sept 2014. As i was notified regarding the consumption of that 1GB pack on 17th Sept, I immediately activated another 1GB pack on 17th Sept 2014. Upon raising my query to vodafone care, I received a response from them that no additional 3G data pack was active on my number during the given bill cycle (attached as Vodafone reply3) and hence 1.43 GB has been charged @ 4p/10Kb = 4Rs/1000KB: Calculations listed below: Total Usage: 3074220KBx4/1000=12296.88Rs Discount: 1.5x1024x1024x4/1000=6291.46Rs ( against monthly plan of 375 for 1.5GB) Charged Amount = 12296.88-6291.46 = 6005.42 Rs I am attaching my screenshots of the sms messages sent to Vodafone for activation of 3G package and confirmation messages received from Vodafone. There is another miscellaneous component of GPRS charged for INR 5648.5 which has never been a part of my previous bills August bill attached for reference. I am also subscribed to all India free roaming for INR 75/month and I manually selected Vodafone network across my stay in UP. despite my various reminders, Vodafone customer care executives Ms Pooja Sharma, Mr Ajay Kumar Singh, Mr Sudhir Kumar Tiwari, Ms Monica jalheria & Mr Vikas Singh has given me similar replies and did not address my issue. They have been repeating the same lines that the charges can not be reversed despite sending the snapshots of SMS. I have clearly stated in my emails that I am in Saudi Arabia and available on [protected] and can not drain my pockets to received calls on international roaming on my indian number [protected]. Despite this notification, and several reminder about the appeal to consumer forum, i did not receive any call from Vodafone India. My sincere request is to forward my case in consumer forum against Vodafone for faulty billing, poor grievance redressal and mental harrasment. Regards Shabber ([protected])
