[Resolved] Vodafone India — get my old number back

Hello, the number i used for more than 8 years was deactivated 18 months back. It was deactivated because i was out of country and i had not made any calls in more than 90 days. So i tried to reactivate it immediately, but was told it cannot be done and i have to buy the number back after 6 months if no one is using it. It has been more than a year. No one is currently using that number and i have been to many vodafone stores but they are not letting me get a sim with that number. Please let me know how to get my number back. i'm using my old number since last 10 years...gujarat governmet provide us..now they chnage another number.so my previus numer is blocked so kindly advice me how do i get it? my old number is [protected]
