[Resolved] Vodafone India — Issue with postpaid bill fraud and continuous threatening for Vodafone customer care | |||
Hello, My friend Shilpa took vodafone number [protected], on behalf of her writing this complain, I requested vodafone to activate 2G data plan on my number on 25/11/2013 And got confirmation from them that my services has been activated and will be Effective from 29/11/2013 ( i have written mail) . i started using the data services from 30/11/2013. i Received a bill of 188 rupees and i paid it without checking any details. On 5th December 2013 i received a bill of amount 337 and due date to pay was 23 dec 2013, suddenly on 8th decemeber my services were barred, i called the customer care and they said your outstanding amount has crossed your credit limit, i said how is it possible, they said you are using net pack so bill has crossed the limit as your credit limit is only 500/-, whatever net amount has been charged gets discounted from the whole bill at the end of the month, i said ok and paid the bill, the very next week again my services were barred, i got shocked and panic, i called the customer care they again said your outstanding bill has crossed your credit limit, i said what is going, why it is happening, he said because you are using internet, i said but i have internet pack activated on my number he said there is no pack activated on my number( i have written mail from them though regarding confirmation of my net pack activation). i understood there is some big gambling they are doing with my number and i started having email conversation. i wrote them regarding this they didn't replied properly, then i complained Nodal officer, nodal officer wrote me that 188 rs was the net charge they have charge and they will waive off in my next bill, i asked them to send me complete bill details, but they didn't bothered and told me that they will send the bills only on my registered email ID [protected]@gmail.com, i never created this email ID in my whole lifetime, god knows from where they gave birth to this email id, i asked them repeatedly that this is not my mail id but they said there system is showing this. They said my 188/- net charges have been waived off and i have to pay 892 something amount which pending. I got shocked, i asked them again and again on how this is possible, how come i get 892 rs bill, i paid complete bill on 8th december, they have barred my services for almost 12 days, how come i get a bill of 892 ? i am using the same plan on my other number and i get maximum 350 rs for the whole month and here i got 892 for 4-5 days? finally after long fight they gave me bill on 13th march 2014 ( Bill period from 29th november 2013to 5th february 2014). On 5th february i wrote to Nodal officer and appellate officer to disconnect the pathetic services as i was tired fighting for my rights, i wrote them to end the service WEF from 5/02/2014 which is the last date of my billing period. the bill which i received from vodafone shows a net usage of 777/- in january, and they said i need to pay this charge as my data plan was activated from 23 january? what nonsense is this anyone can explain? i have written mail that my data services has been activated since 29th november 2013, and vodadone is saying i need to pay the 777/- charge as my data pack has been activated on 23rd january. i netiher requested them to do anything special, i just asked them i have raised a request on 25th novemeber for net activation and it got activated on 29th novemeber, i am using net because i have written mail from you, on what basis you are charging me this? i never asked them to stop my net services. this is their fault, the sent me mail that activation has been done and physically they didnt do it and now they want me to pay for their mistake, they are troubling me since 3 months for their mistakes, inspite of giving me something in return to nonsense pain they have caused me, they have started threatening by calling and saying to pay the bill otherwise they will send people to collect. Does any law and order exists here? i have all the mails in my mailbox from their appellate and nodal officer, even they are not helping me now as they need their payment to be done to cover up their mistakes.
