Vodafone India — mobile insurance claim declined | |
I am using vodafone red plan (499) which provide me mobile insurance. They promised me to give mobile insurance so i opted this plan. For mobile insurance they are charging me rs 100 + taxes per month. While installing mobile shield software it scanned my device for every possible defects and issued me a certificate for mobile insurance. It has been 11 months since i am using this postpaid plan (Vodafone red). Now when i raised a complain for my mobile screen damage, they declined it saying that mobile bill is not in my name. My brother ordered it for me from flipkart. But they are saying that it is in our policy that mobile bill should be in your name or parent's name. Initially they told me to upload document of relation proof. But when i uploaded a relation proof then they declined the claim saying it is in their policy. I have tried to visit vodafone mini store but they said we can't help. Still they are charging me for mobile insurance.
